My mother in law does this same method but instead of putting them in the washer she either takes them to the car wash and uses the pressure washer or uses the one she’s has at home. Depending how dedicated she is feeling lol. Less wear and tear on the washer. Great video Dani!!!

My chucks are light grey...& i do pretty much this EXACT method when I want to deep clean mine...& since there isnt any actual bleach, mine come out super duper clean as well! The only difference, I dont let the shout sit as long.. but that's bc I dont usually have nasty stains, just basic dirt.. HOWEVER, I DO magic erase my rubber edges & tips pretty much everytime I wear them bc that alone makes a HUGE difference! Magic eraser is magic to any rubber part of ANY sneaker! Great tutorial Dani! They came out so pretty! ❤
Yea, I dont think the bleach is necessary. Oxygen booster is so useful! But the shout could pretty much take care of almost anything! I love the magic eraser. Its such a magical gimmick LOL
I used to not bother at all for cleaning mine but just after 2 years now, I just got sick of the dirt and the stink of them, so thanks for the video

Just another tip to add to your awesome shoe cleaning video, if you can let them dry in the sun, it's a natural brightener and add to the whitening of the shoe! Great tips and hints Dani!
I love this tip! The sun was my savior when the kids were babies! But when I tried to dry my sneakers in the sun, they curled up intensely like elf shoes haha!

When i lived in arizona as a teenager we used salt and a tooth brush to whiten our converse.....it works great but the canvas wears out so fast, i like this technique much better 😊😊😊

Idk if you will ever see this but can you do a video on how to fix dye transfer from the washer
No hot water or bleach. Also, I rescue old pairs of converse that people don't want anymore. That's if you outgrow them or they get too old and worn out, making them not wearable anymore. Eventually I'll start up my own hobby where I restore old pairs, I have no idea when though. But keep that in mind when you're about to give these up. I only rescue regular highs, lows and shoreline. Not platforms, seventies or extra slim fit

I am excited about the video, but am I the only one who is shocked that bed sheets are washed with dirty shoes that were being worn outside 😳? I would never go to that bed thinking it was washed with shoes.. that’s why you should not wear shoes in the house:)
LOL! If you cant trust your washer to do a good job, you probably need a different washer. The white cycle is probably the most sterilizing.
@@CoffeeBreakwithDani haha, than it means I should buy a new washer😅 but maybe it’s also a cultural difference:) I am from EU and we noticed the Americans do a lot of things with their shoes on😀 walking inside the house, carpets, lay on the bed, etc.. maybe you have much cleaner streets than we have😂

Thank you for this video. I think the only thing that freaks me out is putting the shoes in the washer and I’m like Who knows what I’ve stepped on and I’m washing my clothes along with my shoes. I’m the kind of person who double bags my shoes before placing it in my suitcase for fear of smells and dirt getting on my clotheslol. Maybe I can wipe the bottom of the soles before putting them in the washer and that would ease my discomfort lol
lol! Everyone has their comfort level. I feel perfectly ok washing my shoes in my washer with my clothes 🤷🏻♀️. If it doesn’t wash and sanitize, it’s obvi not working properly

1. What is your sizing in the shoreline? I tried to buy some and I’m usually a size 10 but 10 was too big and 9 was too small... didn’t see any half sizes.
2. Kind of a silly question but - Would this work for this cleaning method work for the regular chucks and the platform type white ones? How would you keep black ones looking crisp and fresh?
