(Animenz ver.) Akuma no Ko - Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 ED [Piano]

Akuma no Ko (A Child of Evil) to me reflects a magnitude of feelings - The lyrics speak for itself, as a person who hasn't watched AOT yet, I completely embrace the lyrics of this beautiful song without having to understand the plot of the story.
"The world is cruel but I still love you."
"Even if I sacrifice everything, I will protect you."
Two parts of the lyrics stand out to what it means being a hero. The brave side of the human heart who would vouch their souls protecting others, on the other end shows the true form of planet Earth, cruel, but we must live on.
“I noticed that what is growing inside me is the child of evil.”
“Behind justice, inside of sacrifice, there is a child of evil inside my heart.”
These two parts startled me some time back, when I had my own complications with my family and friends, was I born as a child of evil? What are with these complications? Then, going back to “The world is cruel but I still love you”, I understand that no matter what, it’s inevitable to always be peaceful, there must be complications in this world. On the other hand, the lyrics of the song show that, war is a stupid and violent thing, we gain no good out of it.
About the arrangement (Practice: 5 hours):
I totally adored the voicing of the arrangement, it's like a full package (Starting soft and ending soft) to represent the sorrow of the song. I actually practiced this along side my last upload (No Game No Life Medley) and recorded both on the same day lol.
1:13 and 3:08, I've decided to start on an A note with a Bmaj scale instead of the original arrangement's reverse scale as I felt like starting on an A note would complement better with the B note that starts with the chorus.
The arrangement itself, well the most difficult thing to tackle is definitely the runs in the chorus bit. To practice this, I just kept practicing the bmaj scale on both my right and left hand to familiarize myself with the muscle memory involved. The other parts of the song were not too difficult to deal with so I focused more on dynamics on those parts.
I will take a short break next week as my mid terms are coming up. Then again, see you in the next video!

It's saddening to see lots of innocents, especially children and elderly people suffer for no reason. Even loads of citizens my age there are under raining bullets for doing nothing. My hearts go out to the ones that have been hurt during this tragedy. 🕊
