Hey everyone, it's Kitsune here!
I became an anime piano fan when I was 14 and here I am 5 years later! The high level of flexibility for arrangements is what amazes me the most!
The content I like the most is combining different arrangements together, and add some spice to it by improvising a little bit. It's strange, but it is something that I like doing :3

KICK BACK (Animenz arr.) - Chainsaw Man OP [Piano] / Kenshi Yonezu
I thought Black Catcher from Black Clover was the fastest arrangement I've played at 200 bpm, but this one breaks the record at 204 bpm lmao.
Hi everyone! After a long hiatus, I'm back starting with Animenz's Kick Back, an arrangement that is full of power, energy and excitement all around.
Despite Chainsaw Man being released a couple of anime seasons ago, the song still remains a big hit, and is still being looped repeatedly whenever I need an energy boost lol. The original AMV remains a legendary one, with tons of different classical references, and a plethora of masterful animations blended in. One thing I really liked about Animenz in this particular arrangement, is the ability to recite most of the song's original elements as well as incorporating Kenshi Yonezu's enthusiasm and craziness poured into the song. This fast-paced arrangement is an absolute banger and is one of the reasons why I've decided to cover it.
About the arrangement (Practice: 7 hours)
I've put A LOT of emphasis practicing the start of the versus of the song (努力 未来 a beautiful star). I realized how weak I was with the dissonating L/R hand patterns. I had to really crack it down slowly playing it with individual hands before getting the muscle memory in. I felt like that part was even more difficult than the chorus itself lol.
0:45 at the pre-chorus is one of my favourite parts. A soft buildup leading to a RH arpeggio run that ends on a G#6 octave, it's probably one of the most fun I've had just by practicing that run lol, smooth but strong before the chorus hits.
1:40. What a majestic part. Ab major run into a 3-hand technique section. All the compiling emotions that were built up in the first two verses and choruses just calms down in less than 2 seconds. I felt like this "bridge" part is the best part that resonates with how Kenshi Yonezu expresses in the song, they give off the EXACT same vibe.

Too much pedal and dynamics are lacking. Feels like you're playing forte/fortissimo the whole way through, and combined with the muddy pedalling, it's difficult to listen to. I also noticed you simplified the beginning by omitting the C#s and Fs (not a problem, just pointing it out). Overall, decent performance. I feel like a lot of people who try to perform Animenz's arrangements often focus mainly on hitting the correct notes, rather than emotion and technique, and this is an example of that.

Really cool❤ but doesn't come close to the Radwimps Song itself especially performed by Yojiro himself. I heared Grand Escape live at the Radwimps Conceet in Berlin and it was next level ♡.♡
