- In this video, you will find basic concept on how to drift by these practices. This steps and practices is not only for people who new in RC drift world, but also for some drifter who want to have more advancement on their RC drift performance without any understeer, oversteer or struggling with the throttle and steering, including me that I always train myself back to this basic step and practices which is the core exercise for me to refine my drift performance. Smooth operation is one of the skills that I learn from it, because sometimes when drivers play around the track, we forget the skills we learned from the beginning. For some people new in RC drift, one of the biggest challenge for them is to start drifting in the right way, because learning new things is not always easy for them, and for me always. But when I was new in RC drift world, I always ask myself, How can I improve my drift performance? And I tried to find something to challenge myself, and I found this practices that i have experienced still benefit for me in drifting, no matter it is start drifting, advancement for drifting, competition for drifting, Still have many advantages.

Our local drift track just opened in September so we have a lot of beginners, like myself. We also have a few that really know how to drift. It is pretty intimidating and at the same time cool to see the potential in person.

Hi I'm new to rc drifting. I would appreciate to see a video about every single thing you need in order to get your rc drift car moving/build for example like what engine chassis and all that good stuff.
If you’re new and want to just get started, I recommend buying the RMX2.0 chassis and body kit. It’s amazing. For beginners and advanced users.

Hi Timmy, thanks for your videos. I am very new to drift RC. I had the car for only 3 days now. I have Sprint 2 Flux, so my stock remote does not have digital display like yours. So how should I practice the step one?

Just remember, when you are making beginner video it's probably that the driver don't have an high-end radio system,so it's good ing to be confused whit the setup that you showing
Hey man! amazing vid, will also do 1/28 scale drifting? the scale makes it quite difficult to drift (I currently have a cheap rc wltoys with both lock differentials and planning to convert it to a rwd) thank you!
Do you run soft springs all round I found running soft sand setting the front up with abit of scrub helped the front grip massively

Awesome video! I Wonder about the differences between rwd gyro and awd cs. Whats the differences in handling, stule of drifting etc? I like when the car is as much sideways as possible. Seen some videos and it seems like cs makes the car go faster and more sideways but rwd is getting longer and slower drifts. Am i right? Whats the differences in handling and drifting style? Getting my k969 soon and thinking about what route to go

I want to buy my first rc drift car and I want to ask you if YD2r is a good choice for newcomers. It has a rear-mounted engine and i have noticed many good drifters use similar setup, but I have heard that it ma ybe not the best choice for first car.

Just got back Into rc cars again iv ordered the purple buggy and that 1.28 scale Ford focus by wltoys with ill the metal upgrades
since i can only drift outdoors i have to use slick ribber tires for this is that a problem when i will be able to drift with plastic ones?
