i am mainly an rc crawler and basher but i am looking into getting into RC drifting! the cars are so awesome! No real places close by around me. One place an hour away has an indoor track that you have to be a member of. so no where to practice. I rent a small apartment. I know a lot is indoor and preferably indoor, but do these cars work on cement parking lots? or does it just beat them up too bad? Otherwise some beautiful cars! I noticed redcat has an RTR but not a fan of the non licensed body. MST rtrs are sold out everywhere
They can definitely work on cement parking lots! A video I'm releasing soon will show that in action haha. Can't go wrong with either the MST, Yokomo, or Redcat RTRs if you're looking at RTRs!
everything around me MST is sold out and the likes of hobby horizon and a main hobbies. I did like their licensed bodies. I will look into yokomo i have not at all. Just mst and redcat for RTR. figure easier to learn and if i really like i can always upgrade to a builders kit later. thanks for the help! i have a not so flat parking lot at work and was hoping i could still drift

I would love to purchase one or two but dont know the best brands nor do I know what scales these guys use. If some one could help me out I would appreciate it greatly! Also any info on building tracks would be great! The moment I saw how detailed these cars are I knew I had to get them. The problem would be deciding which 1 or 2 to get first

I’m a little bit younger but still older. But very young in the head..Lol. There’s a hobby shop in MA. That setup a road course and race TT-02s etc. I have many of those. Maybe I’ll try that. Then see if they want to try drifting. Not just drift wheels. Real drift cars!! 👍👍

I want to see your channel grow and people like you who fly under the radar get views Personally I would like to see more drifting, as I’m sure a lot of others want to. I feel like if I went to one, I’d feel different, but I want to see more action and get to see some of the drivers (is it something else???) so it can (I feel like it already somewhat does) encapsulate the sport as a whole. I do like the way you record but I also want to see some of the nitty-gritty’s of the build as it would be cool. Beyond that a more professional vibe would possibly even bring in the target audience you want. Now remember, I don’t think your content is bad, but just a few things I think would help and would push your channel further
No worries, I welcome constructive criticism because the different perspectives can be helpful. I just have some questions regarding what you pointed out so I can understand better! If you want to see more drifting, how would you like to see it? I guess I'm confused on the definition of drifting that you're referencing? When I first read the comment, I interpreted it as just more of the action of the cars driving around. But re-reading it now, I feel like the drifting you're referencing is like you say, "...the sport as a whole". I guess it's confusing because my regular videos (the shorter ones) are focused on the just the action of the cars themselves, whereas this video specifically was my first attempt to cover the sport in it's entirety. By builds, do you mean you'd be interested in build videos? I started one a year ago but yeah I really need to get back into finishing it 😅 I should start filming again soon! What is a more professional vibe in your interpretation? There's multiple ways sports are covered professionally so I'd be interested in which one you think of specifically. For example, higher resolution cameras? Or interviews? Talk shows/ commentary? Formula D style coverage where they just show the battles as they move through a bracket? Thanks for taking your time to think of a way that I can grow as a channel, I really appreciate it!

If you don’t want to have a whole GoPro setup around the track you can just pan and zoom in/out. Also it’s (to me) kinda like having fluff in the vid when you record the speaker talking for so long. Not that it’s bad when he announced the winner/stage but the shouting out drivers. Like a runner up would be cool and a 3rd/4th place would be cool, but not 20 minutes (of the vid itself) of him talking. Second - the builds I wanna see if you can (like tuning or prep stage) get to see what the drivers have on the cars like camber and motor wise. Like seeing what the build is. Third - the professionalism More FD style recording, like I said up top. Also see if you can do a few interviews to try and get to know the driver and car, as that would be a nice touch. So yes, like a FD style interview
I appreciate the thought out response! I'll be looking to make improvements to this year's Aftermovie, because this one was the first one I've ever made so I was going in blind with how to make it. I have some ideas but I'm currently limited in man power. Nonetheless, I'll take and apply what I can in the meantime!
it is an expensive hobby 😅 if you can, my best suggestion is to find used ones! that's what I did when I was first starting out a long time ago. it did still take a while to save for it though 😭
