Note about this trip! (THE POCKET HOTEL SHIIJO-KARASUMA and Sightseeing in Kyoto )🇯🇵📝 I saw that “The Pocket Hotel Shijo-Karasuma” had staff who could speak English, so foreigners could stay there without difficulty. Also, everywhere was very clean, including the restrooms and bathrooms. However, the walls could be a little thin because I could sometimes hear noises in the hallway. As for Nishiki Market, it is a shopping street of about 1170 ft. It has 400 years of history and many stores had a very Japanese atmosphere. The food looks very tasty. But be careful, we are not allowed to walk around eating because of the coronavirus . I recommend that you eat in a restaurant or sit somewhere to eat. We can go "Fushimi Inari Shrine" from Kyoto Station by JR Nara Line in about 5 minutes. Many foreigners were sightseeing at "Fushimi Inari Shrine". The shrine was very beautiful thanks to their redness. However, "Fushimi Inari Shrine" is located on a mountain, so you need to walk along the mountain path. Please wear comfortable shoes for sightseeing!
