Thanks for this video. When you do more videos, and go out into nature or the wider cityscapes, please remember to pan the camera around for us so we are able to see more of what you are experiencing. Videos like yours are the only way I get to see your amazing country and hear its sounds, too. I appreciate the great closed captioning. I felt for you with that hot, hot, sauce! There were actual chilis in that bottle? Oh, my, I would have to stay away from even a taste of that.

      Hello! Thanks for your comment!
I should have photographed more of the cityscape, I know...
I'll try to shoot more landscapes and cityscapes next time so you can enjoy them!
What was in the bottle was chili.
That was not something I could eat, I will never eat it again.

In the US I paid about 100$ per night on a pretty big-name 5 star hotel and I got a rundown aweful dirty tacky smelly fridge-less (they said I needed to pay another 200$ per night to get an empty mini fridge in the room for the things I needed to buy myself!!!!!!!) snacks-and-drinks-less breakfast-less heavily unequipped room with the last people's half eaten burgers rotting away under the bed and in Japan with about 16$ you get a clean nicely equipped modern well designed room with amenities and all you're gonna need. Bravo Japan! Truly! May all productions and services worldwide learn from Japan.

Love watching your videos! Had no idea that traveling in Japan could be so affordable. The closest you can generally get in the U.S. is with camping. Can you tell me if the bed length of 195cm/6'3" usually accurate, or are the beds in Pod hotels smaller? I'm having trouble finding info on it, and it doesn't seem to be listed on the sites of the hotels that you've stayed at.

Generally speaking Japanese people like to bath, but its more of a relaxation thing than cleaning, so onsen and public baths like this will have showers for the bathers to clean themselves, the stool is for sitting on generally and the basin would be used to dump over their body to wash off soap, etc.
