**VIDEO SPOILERS BELOW** Inscryption Kaycee's Mod review, starting with what I liked: - A roguelike mode is EXACTLY what I was hoping they would add to the game. The first act had so much potential for interesting strategy, and this game mode shows it can be done. - The actual gameplay is still incredibly fun after 22 runs. I could see myself doing some "everything but the bears" challenge runs for fun in my own time or on stream. - I love all the new content added, between Goobert, the ton of new cards, and the Pirate Boss. All great additions. - The balance has been pretty solid overall. There's definitely a good few auto pick cards, but that's not the greatest sin. - The starter decks are awesome for variety, and that random deck button is a sweet addition that may go underlooked. - Most of the challenges are fun, though I'm surprised the challenge points haven't been a little tweaked. No clover and no hook are not to be scoffed at. What I didn't like: - The bears challenge isn't as re-playable as the rest of them. It's fun to beat the first time, like a puzzle. But on further replays, it severely restricts the number of deck types and strategies you can use. It seems like it either crushes you at the first boss, or you crush it, with no in-between. It is exciting to win that first time though. - I feel as though more could've been done with the room, but that's hardly a negative. Overall FULL GAME revised rating: 9/10 (Excellent)
From the patch notes: Mycologist issue with 3x+ of same card: The pairs are selected to result in a card with the most sigils when combined. That's why you were forced to combine the gecks with pack rat sigils. Although I believe the old way of combining was based on the order of the cards in your deck. So either way those gecks would have been combined.
I just realised something Anything with any attack power and submerge can solo phase 3, if you just keep putting down squirrels for it to attack, as it will not attack directly if there's something in the way ... Is that the purpose of the moon's ability to delete small creatures?
Damn that boss was sick. You say your deck was unfair, but it really seems like it needed to be that way to beat that. GG, thanks so much for all the Inscryption videos!
That last boss with the Limoncello was absolutely amazing, you actually might have lost aswell if your deck wasn't so health heavy with cards. And in the end if you hadn't gotten fecundity lizards the battle would have been an entirely different story.
Imagine if the sea shanty from the original game was just blasting through the entire boss battle, you'd never get the sound of accordions out of your head

The limoncello reveal is just epic and fun. Once I beat royal my self I might take a look at the actual modding community, I feel like the devs set a bar for modding with this. So cool.
You should check out the Grimora Mod, it's still a WIP but it adds a whole new campaign! There are also betas you can find on the Discord server which are about twelve versions ahead of the current one, very much worth playing them.
You cracked the eggs! Incredible! This starter deck is one that definitely encourages one to play a unique way, making builds that one normally wouldn't purposefully build. Fun run
idk if hodag bifurcation is actually good since the description says, "attack increases when card in front dies" which would mean that any bifurcation kills do not do anything
@@schmeedorcocloa1986 Opposing creature is the game text for "enemy in slot in front". It's the same language that the trapper trap cards use and only kills creatures directly in front, not any attacked card. So, if what you're saying is correct than OP is probably right.
Would love to see a similar endless mode for the other three bosses. We never got to play much of Magnificus or grimora, and seemingly most of the game design from part 2 could be used.
fun fact you can sorta cheese some events like for example campfire always removes its pre set but if you quickly go to menu you can undo the destruction of that card
They missed an opportunity with those scissors on the moon/pirate ship. It'd be cool if you could use them but just cut a triangle out of the boss card, which could cut out a symbol on it (or trim one and change its effect?). Maybe also have it deal a chunk of damage too - like 5 or 10.
Love love LOVE your playthroughs especially Inscription because u make it fun to watch, you understand most things so the audience is engaged and you have fun while you're doing it. If you could do a playthrough of the infinite add-ons with inscription that would be amazing, you can create the strongest card known to man! Edit: mod is unlimited inscription
Fecundity reptiles...would that apply to ouroboros? If that were powered up, and had something else with undying that needed a sacrifice, that could quickly still become wildly OP
Yoo you should try Have a nice Death, its a new roguelike released yesterday and its really fun it has great hack and slash combat and a bunch of weapons, 100% recommend
I know you hate and avoid the trapper in your runs, understood, his pelts suck. But did you know, on his table is an additional option to purchase? if you scroll down on the pelt selection screen and put the trapper back in sight, next to him will be a Hunting Dagger to buy (7 teeth). it is a fun item for the runs, insta-Kill a foe and gain a Pelt.
ik you may already be done or almost done with vampire survival but theres another one somewhat like it with a different theme and almost as much content, its a mobile app named magic survival, really good, should check it out
I was just thinking about that every time I watched a Vampire Survivors video. Magic Survival is really great, and is still technically in a beta but it's been around in that stage long enough

If he could combine a geck with pack rat sigil with a geck with no sigil, the result would have the same amount of sigils as the one he got though.

The mushroom combine's logic is that it will offer sigils first, then highest stats. So because you had 2 gecks with sigils, it offered both of them.

Card sigil idea: a sigil where instead of sacrificing a card to summon it it would instead half the power and health of the sacrificed card

Would recommend, but lag spikes happen if you play on a bad device. The game is free, but you can pay for a full version for a small amount.

Fecundity has been replaced as the strongest sigil in the game, at least in Kaycees mod. Unkillable is way stronger now
