- I recently cleared an overflowing grease traps (link for that video below) and I made sure to cover the nearby soak wells so no excess grease would run into the tanks. I had someone clean the car park and returned the following day to remove the tarps from the soak wells. It had rained overnight so there was a little flood. Flooded Carpark.

This has been my best performing video in a while. Has my hatred for littering resonated with you? Makes me think, what can I do to raise awareness with my little channel?
And when I say "raise awareness" I mean make the bloody idiots think twice before throwing their sh** out the car window
Without wanting to, you started, since by expressing your angry opinion you make your position clear to this lack of respect for the environment, the city, the neighbor, since surely there must be places to throw the waste but it is easier to throw it on the floor, like the cars that throw out of the window what annoys them or seems like garbage instead of saving it and throwing it at home or in some passing place, it is tremendous to see the things that people throw in places that are not for that, causing endless of drawbacks.
@@DrainCleaningAUSTRALIA You have to make people feel like they have a stake in something for them to respect it. We are not doing a good job making people feel like they have a stake in society.

It drives me nuts when people throw out trash onto the ground. There is no excuse for it except just pure laziness. I completely agree with you, Bruce. Loved this video!!

Another great video, thanks. Best thing I saw in a carpark, was a woman picked up a smoldering cigarette butt a guy threw out his car window, she just said, I think you dropped something and threw it into his lap, funny as.

I totally agree with your rant, Bruce. Unfortunately the issue is everywhere. We see it at its worst in early spring after the snow is gone. How often do those soak wells have to be cleaned out? We have storm water retention ponds to let the water settle and to help slow down the amount that eventually flows into the rivers and onward to the lake.

Question, when you say "Soakwell",
Is that literally just a pit for water to soak into the earth or does it have a pipe that leads off elsewhere?

@rewyred hello mate! Yeah that's correct. Here in Perth, soakwells are used because the earth is so sandy. After some heavy rain, it doesn't take long for the water to soak away. Over east they're not too common as the earth has lots of clay soil

Ah yes that clears up a lot! I was curious about it as where I am from everything is a catchbasin and leads elsewhere because we are either clay or rock....

Bruce... What sort of magic did you use to get the whirlpool to run clockwise in the land down under? My brother in Manly has assured me that yes John, the toilets do flush Counter Clockwise. It is not a conspiracy theory. Or is Western Australia different?
