I very much like the way the drains are recessed from the road. It's so easy to see their location, and it also means it's far safer for a person to unblock the drain.

For those wondering - If the temperature outside is not a problem (and you have no PPE requirement), then shorts, flipflops, and full waterproofs on your upper body is THE best thing to wear during heavy rainfall. Once you get inside, all you have to do is take your waterproofs and flips off, give your legs a quick shake, and you are DRY. Even better, if you need to go out in the wet again, simply chuck the waterproofs and flips back on and you are ready.
I learned this during the 'Pokemon Go' craze a few years ago..... while others were going out in jeans, boots, and the like, and having to put all their wet clothing in the drier when they got back meaning they generally stayed in, whenever I saw a pokemon I wanted on the trackers, on went the waterproofs, shorts and flips, popped out a few blocks, hoovered up the pokemon, back home, dry and ready for the next one.

I'd like to see more wide-angel shots. I rather enjoy watching the road drain.

Idk but Imm more interested in the unclogging the drain than watching it drain .. I also like to see how much water left the streets

I don't get taking a video of just the drain and only the drain and not see the flood in the street shrinking.

Homie with the slips on is gonna have some serious feet problems if he just keeps letting them soak in that nasty disgusting water. Get some boots man.

I do this on our street, chip ice in the drain when it’s clogged, too. I’m the only one who bothers. All our basements backup if I don’t 🤷🏼‍♀️
