- N’wendlamuhari probably the largest Tusker alive in Kruger National park.
Spotted at the Thihongonyeni Waterhole in the Mooiplaas region close to Mopani Rest Camp.

I've seen this awesome guy twice on separate visits to Kruger but only from a distance. Still breathtaking! Unfortunately I doubt I'll be getting back to Africa for a few years now.

I wonder if in elephant social dynamics the bigger tusked male vs a similar sized male but lesser tusks automatically makes it the dominant male.?
Slightly smaller than the creig. I would say in between Grate Tim and Craig when compire with features.
Such a question is whether you can take genethic material (sperm and cells) from the last Big Tuskers and freeze it or reproduce them invitro in zoos and closely guarded reserves 🐘🌿

In the 60’s the piano keys “should” be made of ivory, if not the piano was considered cheap, low class, not for serious people. I remember there was some disappointment when my parents bought a piano with non ivory keys, as a kid I was almost ashamed for it . The 60’s was an era of craziness and mass shooting of elephants from helicopter was proudly presented in wildlife magazines…
You must be thrilled with your parents decision now. If only more people thought like them then we would have more tuskers around.
