The fact James was able to incorporate his usual Kill Count film vocabulary into a kill count for a video game is amazing, like bastard skellies and calling the physical forms of the Elder Gods Dream Demons. It’s so creative and meta!
I will never get over how funny the Scorpion/Bi Han chapter was. Raiden was like "no, scorpion, don't kill him and we'll try and get your family back," and all it took for scorpion to kill him anyway was Quan Chi saying "remember how the guy who you hate bc he killed your family killed your family?" But the funniest part was how scorpion pulls up looking like a guilty puppy before slowly holding up Bi Han's skull. "Sowwy waiden..."
@@GreatFThe Elder Gods actually did revive Scorpion's family and clan for him in the original timeline. However, either because they're jerks or massively incompetent, they resurrected the entire Shirai Ryu as zombies.

As a kid, I actually fought Reptile without knowing the sequence. I played the game so much, everything came together by pure chance. I had no idea it was even possible, it only happened once, and it took me almost 20 years to find out how it happened. One of the coolest moments I've experienced in 30+ years of gaming.
Dead Meat needs to cover the animated Mortal Kombat films Scorpion’s Revenge, Battle of the Realms, and Snow Blind. Now those have a LOT of kills and are essentially horror action films. They definitely have more kills than the live-action films. I love them!
Video game stories are a perfect next step for kill counts. It opens the door to so many new genres and stories. From classic horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil to action games like God of War, or Apocalypse games like Last of Us. The potential is endless
My favorite MK game of all time will always be Deception. The Konquest mode with Shinjuku was one of my favorite campaigns in a fighting game and the ending made me so mad as a kid that I had to take a break for like a month before finding out I could continue playing after the credit rolled. Which made me love it even more.

MKX had a great roster and great DLC. The 3 different variants of each character was cool as well. The story wasn't my favorite. Didn't love the Kombat Kids.
I love how much fun you're having with this series, genuinely, it's so clear you're free to be as silly as you want and it's so enjoyable, I love all the new to the numbers bits

Too bad that he has to be D'vorah’s replacement when it comes to fatal blows or fatalities, ESPECIALLY FATALITIES. Screw TH-cam for their stupid censorship, blue and green blood is fine for them but red isn’t?
I'm honestly loving these new types of Kill Counts!! It's really fun and refreshing ☺️
YES, THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!
I was so confused and then I remembered that MK has animated movies
Ooooo good one, yes!!!

I have never expected James to do a kill count video on video games.
Hopefully well known horror games get covered
Dead meat sucks because my content is better LOL
Tbh I saw it coming for a while, you think he's gonna do games like Until Dawn?
until dawn, silent hill, resident evil, there's so many possibilities@@DirtySoulsTV
@@lev_isaac Silent Hill would be so good
Video game stories are a perfect next step for kill counts. It opens the door to so many new genres and stories. From classic horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil to action games like God of War, or Apocalypse games like Last of Us. The potential is endless
If he does continue video game kill counts then it’s going to be horror games
Evil Within, Outlast, Little Nightmares, and more.
My favorite MK game of all time will always be Deception. The Konquest mode with Shinjuku was one of my favorite campaigns in a fighting game and the ending made me so mad as a kid that I had to take a break for like a month before finding out I could continue playing after the credit rolled. Which made me love it even more.
You just unlocked a core memory for me. Im about to go watch the cutscenes immediately 😂. The konquest was an amazing gameplay strategy. Idk who this new MK is 🥲
In love with the creativity of these recent kill counts! The TTN bit last week killed me and this one was so unexpected!
Honestly, this feels like a step in an amazing direction
The strikes suck for those affected, but im really feeling this creative dead meat era. Literally so fun seeing them cover things outside of just horror movies. Really hoping something like salad fingers will be covered next, but im just excited to see whats next
MK9 and MKX are tied for my favs. MK9 got me into it and mkx for pure nostalgia
I'm stoked to see Dead Meat starting to cover horror games on the channel. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them covered in the future
Pretty sure they said they are covering danganronpa in October, so that should be cool.
Tbh calling MK a horror game is kinda weird.
It really doesn't focus much if at all on the horror.
The Gore is cool tho and some chars are creepy
I love how normally james does not count skeletons, but he is going over the top and counting almost everything in theme with how crazy mortal kombat is.
My personal favorite fighting game series of all time. The graphical evolution of these games are amazing and I can't wait for you to do more!
That "to the kills" transition was sick!
Do you know what the specific episodes are that all of the James characters are from? I recognize a few of them, but not all of them.
I’m genuinely so glad that you’ve innovated your format to stuff like games.
This is one of my favourites!
So cool how James thought of kill counting this entire storyline explained it very well (like always) and fit these 2 hours into just under 40 mins
I LOVED this kill count, PLEASE keep doing Mortal Kobat episodes!!!!
This was actually pretty good and a nice alternative to movies, should definitely keep it at least once a month
I hope he does MK 10, 11, Aftermath and future ones
It’s is 8:13am and I just got home from work. Thank you James and the rest of Dead Meat for giving me something I can always come to after a stressful night. Happy Friday y’all
ong i got off work at 6am and immediately played this
I appreciate that the Kill Count team is still creating content during this time. I really enjoy this channel, y'all do a great job!
Honestly, MK has a much better storyline than many horror series, so I'd love to see you covering other instalments in the future.
More Video Game kill counts please 🙏 this was so much fun. Can't wait for you to cover MKX, MK11 and hopefully MK1 when it comes out
This kill count is a masterpiece. Thank you James and everyone involved.
I never expected you to do video game kill counts, but this is amazing and I really wish this does well so we can see more in the future.
Kitanna's Sister!!! Probably one of the all-time greatest jokes.
Absolutely loved this. Mortal Kombat 9 is so damn good, honestly super underrated. Boon has really given as some of the best fighting games for decades. Yall should definitely do X, and 11 too
As someone who’s been watching since the very beginning, it’s so dope to see you expand to video games!
“Smoke is still about to become an e cigarette” is fucking hilarious
Love seeing how much progress James has made with his work outs!
