In this clip, Kid from Kid 'n Play opened up to VladTV about going on tour with NWA during the start of their careers. He explained that while many people wouldn't think that they had overlapping fans, Kid stated that groups like NWA and Public Enemy put them on tour to neutralize thoughts about it being a "gangsta rap" show. After confirming that TK Kirkland was also on the tour, Kid shared a story about being warned not to cuss in Cincinnati, adding that they had zero tolerance. When NWA started cursing during their show, Kid 'n Play and others started running to the bus to get out asap. I feel like Kid is one of my favorite interviews now. He has amazing stories to tell and he tells them well. He was there for a lot of things, so he speaks from an authentic place.
