The angle scale would be cool except it only comes in metric (last time i checked). The center finder can be made in the shop in a couple of minutes. The one on this video is only about 2.5 inches wide between the posts so you can't even mark a standard 2x4.
I really really REALLY wish that whoever edits these videos would adjust the sound levels so that the music was not 10x louder than the voice-over, and that all the segment volumes were roughly equal. Sheesh!! It's not hard to do.

Some other matters range from the different types of wood along with their different levels of difficulty in terms of managing them. This book has been very helpful and is a good one for somebody just getting into woodworking. .
I'm surprised a pencil sharpener wasn't included in this list of must haves. Like everything else in our society, dumbing-down the most basic of tasks has taken the place of learning the principles. None of the exquisite 18th furniture would've ever been created by imbeciles needing such 'tools'.
