Schecter sits down with Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Chicken Foot and The Circle to discuss his new Schecter endorsement and custom shop production series signature line.
M.A. always comes across as a really nice guy, definitely one of rock's solid, dependable players. I'm glad he's stayed out of the Van Halen shit throwing contest, he's a class act. Does the rat rod finish bass remind anyone else of Boba Fett?? Good to see the JD bass in the video too. Thanks Schecter!
Still droolin' over that Ford GT off to the side. Note to Mikey - mic the exhaust note and work it into a Chickenfoot tune the way Eddie used his lambo in Panama.
M.A. kicks royal ass, always has, and looks like a pretty cool axe, too! Classy little thumb rest. What are the possibilities of doing a reverse headstock to tighten the E and A up even more?
It's kinda crazy 😳 but I'm another one of those guitarist that yields to bass duties to get jobs. I actually want this more than the striped EVH guitars. This hopefully is in my future.
With all respect...Isn´t it exactly the same bass as you´ve had with Yamaha? I mean it looks and sound awesome I just thought that when you are switching endorsement it is because you are looking for some new concept, sound, design, etc. However, good luck with The Circle. You are a legend, Michael!
I guess it´s a chickenfoot song the one playing at the back, 'couse of Jos Satriani's guitar solo, which I can identify as his. Does anybody knows the name of the song?
We all like Mikey! Even Wolfie likes him!

Always one of the best, rock on Mike!
Very cool, thank you.
Don't tell me Mike doesn't still have it. Woe!
Classy guy, fabulous bass. Particularly like the grey/black version. Didn't expect that at all :)

He deserves a signature guitar. Schecter too. Good choice. I play the Damien Elite 6 string. EMG pickups.
Great guy.
