When Paul says “see to your family first, financially”…… you’d never hear that from the prosperity preachers. This man is as sincere as they come and because of that is worth listening to and know that above all things, speaks the truth.

Wow. I never would have believed a pastor who would allow us to keep our money in troubled times. I was once told even if I couldn't buy groceries I still need to meet my commitment. I couldn't buy groceries and I never gave there again. Praise God for a ministry that will not guilt you into giving but trust God to provide. Bless you!
My dear brother. I could not agree more about what you say about knowing the Lord. It is essential, in good times and in bad. I have suffered greatly in my marriage and have been treated horribly by my husband. And anyone worldy would say it is the trauma talking, but my God has carried me in the most incredible way. He has given me this unbelievable patience and strength to stand still and not open my mouth many times. I truly believe the Lord has done a miracle. And why? Because He is my focus every single day, no matter what I see and experience. I do not take my eyes of Jesus and by persevering like that I gain strength. But only the strength that He is able to give. I know that my redeemer lives no matter what and He will raise me up - every single time. The Lord is able to use horrible events for good and because I know that I am comforted. That is our God. Good and just. I lack nothing because nothing can separate me from the love of God.
I don’t know of anyone nor have I known anyone who is faithful as Pastor Washer. There are so many who preach really sound doctrine that can’t resist manipulating scripture by some selfish care of the world such as some monetary or political idolatry which reads all types of doctrines into the Bible. Please pray that as a family we are able to overcome the loss of my husband to covid in Dec 2020 . My daughter, who is in US is still struggling to find an answer, why God had to take her dad away too soon . We all as a family have questions, yet I’m trying hard to rest in the sovereignty of our Lord .
My daughter also needs to be married as she is almost 30 and she is shutting her self away from the thought of marriage, due to the uncertainties of life in these last days .
Please pray she overcomes her sorrow and her disillusionment.

Thank you Lord for Paul Washer and him teaching sound doctrine. But we are the church Acts 7:48 is a great passage. We are the body and we are not command to give to a individual pastor, but God loves a cheerful giver to anyone. Read also 2 Corinthians 9:7.

So I have a question, this man and other seem to say that the gifts have ceased. My question though is the Bible says that many will show the form of Godliness but deny it's power. We are all given the same spirit The Holy Spirit, the same Spirit of God which abides in it's true believers, so why do they limit on what God can do and how God can move through people? Maybe I don't understand their doctrine on this, but to say the gifts have ceased. I'm aware that there are false healers and apostles etc...but I don't understand why these seem to imply that healing, miracle signs and wonders are not a thing in their teachers.
I just really seek clarity on this. There are some really good teachers and I need to find some. Right now it's A.W Tozer and some older sermons or R.A Torrey but I want to know who I need to listen to beside reading the Bible and prayer...that's another thing is discernment. When I hear what is teached about the gifts are ceased I m always reminded of that verse. 2 Timothy v3. I just feel like they're spiritually dead people preaching scriptures but denying God's power.
Again, just would love some clarity on this.
I think the question is what is God's power and how it is manifested in the gospel .....and i think the signs and wonders are just a way of making people believe in the gospel ...just how moses asked in exodus 4 how the people of israel would belive that God himself sent him but God replied by giving moses the ability to perform signs and wonders
And also the power of the gospel is revealed in how God turns a sinful man into his own righteousness
WAY late- but Paul washer doesn't preach gifts have ceased he has a sermon clip on it saying he will never say that I just watched yesterday. He speaks about tongues in the bible vs how people see tongues now and says he definitely believes in being healed etc. Just thought I'd mention that since just watched it.

Is easy to encourage people when you have a wife . I would like to see you how would you encourage people without a wife
His words are not Biblical in this instance, growing in the knowledge of God, is showing what he is doing in the world. Matthew 24 tells us quite plainly what is going on and allows us to see what God is doing, his plan is coming into fruition.
Follow Jesus Christ, correct your life, do not pretend Sin does not matter. We must have self control.
Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

For the fool says there is no God. The byproduct is that same fool returning to his folly, as a Dog to its vomit........
You are neither a man of encouragement nor a man of spreading joy. Sorry but that is a truth
