    Hi Juva, greetings from India. First of all, I would like to thank you for making such amazing videos which really helped me to prepare for TOEFL. I just got done with my iBT Home Edition test and got unofficial scores of 25 and 30 in reading and listening respectively. My speaking test was okayish and writing one was pretty good. I would provide update to my final score as soon as I get them. To be honest, I only did 2-3 days of preparation for this test and mainly utilized your videos for guidance. Certainly, they helped me quite a bit, especially the templates and I'm glad I came across this channel. My target was to score just enough to apply to the universities I've short listed, hence, such minimum effort was put in. Cheers and thank you once again.

    Thank you

      I'm so glad you like the video :). 1) Yes, you have to leave a blank line after the introduction to indicate a new paragraph. 2) I left one blank line between paragraphs and it was fine. 3) You will type your answer in the answer box, no formatting is required. Hope this helps :)

    Hello Juva, thank you so much for your video.
    Do you think it would be a great idea to have three body paragraphs as such:
    Parag 1: state why presentations and essays are not enough
    Parag 2: state A1 for exams
    Parag 3: state A2 for exams
    thanks again!:)

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Perla, I'm so glad you like the video 😀. You can write three body paragraphs, however, each of them should contain an argument for your opinion, so you should state why exams are better in each.

    Hey thanks for your explanation. Is it better to write just about one of the options in the whole essay or we should compare choices together? I mean do we need to say that : i chose A because B and C are not that effective. Or we can say I choose A bcuz of two reasons.

    • @juva

    • @juva
      @juva  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kavil, I wouldn't use 'and because' twice because it seems quite repetitive. A comma is fine. You could also use something like 'as well as due to the fact that'... - this way you don't use 'and' and 'because' twice. Hope this helps!

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ashmeet, it doesn't matter what kind of reasons you provide, but they must be relevant to the question. You have to write a clearly structured essay that shows that you can deal with complex grammar and vocabulary and that answers the question. Hope this helps :).

      Excellent question! The prompt asks you which assignment you think is best. So you have to choose one and you must give reasons and examples for your opinion.
