    TOEFL Writing - Don’t do This!
    In TOEFL Writing you can easily make mistakes that cost you a lot of points. I scored 30/30 in TOEFL Writing and I tell you 5 big mistakes you should not make in the TOEFL Writing tasks. These mistakes will make it impossible for you to get a high TOEFL Writing score even if you are good at writing in English. However, it is not hard to avoid them, you just need to know what you should not do. Once you know that, you can improve your TOEFL Writing score quickly and efficiently. Don’t let these mistakes get in your way!

      Hello there Juva, I took my test today, but I'm so pissed off about my test centre's keyboards! They slowed down my typing speed due to their terrible "key travel" and also the keys made errors like writing letters twice or not executing my clicks. Because of that, I didn't get to revise my writing (for contractions or typos) or see if I can add more phrases in the text (although I think I did well on this section). 🤦‍♂️ ETS should really make test centres to provide better peripherals.

    Hi Juva. First of all, THANK YOU for all the effort you put in the explanations and videos; your content is indeed useful for those willing to take the TOEFL. Just a question regarding the speaking section, what should be the speaking pace? How many sentences or words should I reach to get 30 points? Once again, thank you.

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Jorge, you're so welcome! I'm so glad the content is helpful to you. You should speak in a normal pace, not too slow so that you can fit all in the information in you need to say, but also not too fast because ETS must be able to understand you. I think your score doesn't depend on how many sentences or words you say, you must only make sure that you mention everything that's necessary. Hope this helps :)

    Juva first of all thank you for your videos! I have a question about whether I should avoid this or not - in the case of agree/disagree question, do I have to utterly agree/disagree, or is it okay if I believe the topic has its pros and cons? E.g. usage of the internet - pros (education) cons (misinformation). Thank you in advance, keep up the great work!

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ondřej, you're so welcome! That's an excellent question. If the question in task 2 in TOEFL Writing asks you whether you agree or disagree, you must take a side. This is extremely important because otherwise ETS thinks that you did not understand the question. The question does not ask you to write about the pros and the cons, it asks you whether you agree or disagree, so you must take a stance. Hope this helps :)

      Hi Merve, you're so welcome! You can use "I" in the independent writing task of the TOEFL and I highly recommend using personal examples. nowadays the automation is a perfect way to keeps your time and effort as well ,so it is not a reason to make people losing their jobs ,i don't agree with the statement, for three reasons i will explain it in my essay :
      firstly, majority of the automation processes are located in factories so the works will be done in a limited time with keep humans soul safty. ، less effort and time as well which is a significant requirment in this era in order to execute and carry out the works without any errors , also there are lots of people who lost thier lives, because they were supposed to worke and deale with dangerous machines, this is a pity, the increase in autmotion is a really lifesaver to get the people's souls safe.
      secondly , in my opinion, i think we need employees in order To carry out start and stop operations, so people will never lose thier jobs at all maybe a some worker will be laid off ,but this is not the general case , we definitely need Electrical Engineers .
      lastly , to my mind i think this statement is illogical becouse the automaton is a Man-made process so we end up getting Developers, so obviously we need humans . also the automation located in specific places in the factories ,we can not make such a decision in every workplace ,because there are jobs where there no chance for it to be executable
