Like I was really sad when Borg retired so young. But eventually other great players do come along. For those who are fans of the sport and not just of one particular player, there’s always been some good tennis to watch, and sometimes some great tennis.....who knows what may happen with some of the young players? I also did not like on court coaching, let the players develop their independent tactics to win the match, rather than somebody breathing on their neck like helicopter parent. It's ok to learn from big players before match or after..but during the crucial time of facing the opponent, only the player should be allowed to develop the strategy and grow. U can win the matches easily, but always with the feeling of shared glory of the coach.... Sure it's nice for mom to teach you once, but not standing over you, directing everything. What's the fun in that? Tennis not a team sport.
