Didn't they say the same thing about Sampras, Agassi, Becker, McEnroe and all other big players in the past? I don't konw because I only started watching tennis in the last decade but I think it's wrong to think there will be no "Big 3" again.

Federer is such a goof and Nadal such a sweet counterpart always trying to accommodate around Roger’s rhythm (not on court though) How can you not love these two regardless of their rivalry on court?

Martina Navratilova and Chris Everett have a very close friendship like these two, even when they were competing against each other. When the iron curtain fell & Martina returned back to her home town after defecting years earlier (&country) she asked Chris to come on that trip. It’s nice to see will all the competitions, trophies, money that strong life long friendships can be formed in competitive tennis. Love to watch Rafa & Roger’s friendship.
Keep searching and watching old Fedal videos since Roger's retirement because i need to get used to the fact. The more i see their interaction, the more i believe Rafa is the only person in Roger's tennis environment competitive-wise, that allowed Roger to be a child, to be a kid, to be himself that he genuinely is, among all his lavish lifestyle, money he always received, all the high end peoples in the world that he acquainted along the way. This is really precious and beatiful to witness, tbh. Rafa seems to be the only person who he can come back to, to humble him.
I think Roger in the beginning didn't like Rafa (for obvious reasons) but as they both grew up he realised the superiority of Rafa's game, accepted it, and started to admire him honestly. And this helped their friendship a lot. I don't think Rafa ever disliked Fed on the other side. Rafa probably has the purest heart of them all.
