I just ran into this video and thought Id give this a try tonight. Unfortunately, a sample of the pigment I ordered was clumpy but found another pigment. And the part where you said “I thought I had ruined it” happened to me. Going to trust the process and start the second half tomorrow! Thank you for the tutorial
Absolutely gorgeous I just got all the stuff to do resin projects and can’t wait this one inspired me for my first project on my own. And oh my your nails are beautiful too!
I enjoy your tumbler creations, but your mold creations blow me away. They are always so gorgeous- I really don’t know how you get the top so perfect on these. Usually I use the underside of a poured mold but with these handles in the top side, your finish is flawless. ❣️❣️
Thank you so much!!! 🥰💕 I prefer to use the top since that’s where the artwork is that I can see. If you aren’t getting a super smooth glossy finish on the top maybe try a different epoxy? Thank you for watching! 🥰💕
Super beau bravo , Ma question, il faut attendre que la première couche soit sèche avant de mettre la résine final ? Ou tout faire en même temps ? Merci beaucoup
I have been waiting for mine to cure, de-molding and screwing/drilling the handles in afterwards. This blew my mind! I feel like my pretty side is always on the bottom of the mold though, I'd HATE for that to be the bottom of the tray. 🥺 Thoughts?
I’ve seen it done that way as well! There’s no wrong way to do it. But if you like the bottom better then it makes sense to drill the holes after. I usually like the top better, but it totally depends! Thank you for watching! 🥰
Thank you!! So you can do a lot without the alcohol, but it kinda is like the cherry on top and just makes any epoxy piece look that much better! There’s nothing I know of that would be a good substitute, sorry! But thank you for watching! 💕❤️
Thank you! I forgot to mention, but it’s the Opal Mica from DIY Epoxy, here’s the link: diyepoxy.com/shop/opal-pearlescent-mica-powder/ And thank you for watching! 🥰💕
Thank you! I use Artistry Epoxy. Yours might have come out flexible if the epoxy you used wasn’t meant for that application or it’s just a low quality one. Here’s the link to the one I use, there’s a regular art and tumbler formula and a fast set. Artistryepoxy.com
I was wondering how much resin in total did u use for the smaller tray because I have a smaller mold like that one and 2 coasters so how much resin would u say for the 2 coasters and the smaller tray
Omg I've only clicked on this video just now and I was thinking wish I saw this sooner- but rather be sooner than never LOL thank you for explaining all that as I've always wondered how it's done- I do art work but been getting into watercolours and been looking up watercolour art on walls as I'm DIY my flat and I thought why not put my skills to the test and have featured walls hahah it's my first flat aswell hahaha Us perfectionist hey 😏🤣🤣 I love this-- so satisfying hehe Do you wear a mask when you apply? Never done this before and I'd love to try aha and where did you get those black gloves? :)
Beautiful! So elegant and it’s just a relaxing calming vive you get from these colors! Can’t wait to get my hands on those pigments and micas you used! Where do you get the coasters molds? Love these! You did a great job. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much! Here’s the link for the coasters: amzn.to/3sY0xE8 Sorry I forgot to add it in the description box! Also these are the same brand, they are a little different though since they updated the coasters, they will be the same shape though! Thank you for watching! 🥰💕
Beautiful....... ❤ it's amazing work... You did a great job 🔥 Lots of love from India 🇮🇳 and God's own country Kerala 🌴.am Also very interested to do resin work
So it’s best to do epoxy in a garage or room that has good ventilation, I always tell people to do lots of research before doing it at home so you are comfortable with what you are doing and the precautions you are taking. I hope that helps! 🥰
Yes, garages are separate from the house so fumes wouldn’t go into your home. Just try to get as much dust out first so you don’t have it all landing in your epoxy.
Omg I just started following you and I’m so in love!!!!Im new to resin crafts so watching you do this inspired me. One thing I would ask thou where can I find pigments?I’ve been on amazon with no luck.
Aw thank you so much!!! Your support means the world! 🥰🥰🥰 So DIYepoxy.com has some pigments, but I’m starting a new color company with them called Colorflex and we will have some awesome pigment paste as well as glitter and micas, keep an eye out for that! Thank you for watching! 🥰💕

Hey! Enjoyed watching your video. What kind of alcohol did you use and where can i get it?
Thank you! It’s 99% isopropyl alcohol, we have it available here: artistryepoxy.com/shop/accessories/isopropyl-alcohol/
@@CallieMileham1 so glad to see your reply 🤗 and did you mix a pearl white pigment in the alcohol?
Can this be used for resin jewelry

What is the difference between agate and geode? I see these different names when I look around
Beautiful!!💚
Thank you! 💕💕
Is there a difference in that poppy than other brands? I’ve never heard artistry
Yes! It’s a high quality formula that has a high shine and no smell! Other brands smell really bad and use lower quality materials. ❤

Nice work, so what’s the name of the market?
I madden a tray but mine as a result came out soft and flexible. Can you tell me why?

Hello I have 3 kids and want to resin at home but they say it's harmful to the respiratory system. .. any advice ?
So it’s best to do epoxy in a garage or room that has good ventilation, I always tell people to do lots of research before doing it at home so you are comfortable with what you are doing and the precautions you are taking. I hope that helps! 🥰
@@CallieMileham1 thank you so a garage would work? Only if there's good ventilation? Just to make sure lol
Yes, garages are separate from the house so fumes wouldn’t go into your home. Just try to get as much dust out first so you don’t have it all landing in your epoxy.
Hi can you recommend epoxy brand
Yes! Artistryepoxy.com 😀
great video please lower the music volume...it really compeats with your talking.

Yes they are oil based paint so they won’t wash off! ☺️
@@CallieMileham1 can you recommend the brand? Plz?
Can we dry the resin in room temperature?
Yes it will cure on its own once mixed! ☺️
