Hi Nadia! This is absolutely gorgeous! I have probably a silly question but after the latex dried and you’re getting ready to top coat it, did you place the tray on lifts for the resin to drip off or let it sit on the mat. The reason I ask is because I put mine on little plastic cups but the tray will bend since it’s not fully cured. I guess I could wait a few days but I was anxious 😬

I love these molds! I noticed tho they’re a little bendy? I’ve made sure my mix is accurate a few times and still the same. I was curious if you had the same issue?
It is a beautiful and elegant tray! 😍👍🏼 I had the experience with the color in the edges (gold or silver), they pilled or get scratched very easy, do you have the same experience or not??? I’m thinking that maybe doing the edges before the clear top coat, can be a good idea! I’ll try that! By the way thanks for the tip of the latex, I didn’t have idea about that!

You place the handles in the poured resin which holds the handles. However, when you turned the tray over there appears to be screws going through the underside of the board that would attach to the handles.
I also want to know how she placed those handles?
Same. Because mine fall into the resin every time. I usually just wait until it cures and then drill them in with a low impact drill.

U can use any aap for it by giving the length and breath size of the mold

Thank you! No, it won’t melt the resin but could leave a small dent. We top coat with a higher heat resistant/protective top coat such as DCS Resin or Honey Resin by Dipon. You can use my code ‘SUMMERGIRL’ to save 10% 😊
How did you get from 5:09, which is pretty bad to 5:15 which is beautiful? Something pretty drastic happened between those 2 shots.

Hey Nadia. Another questions sorry hehe. But what kind of latex is it? I mean is there a specific latex for resin or any latex is okay? And whats the difference between coating / pouring clear resin after demolding and before demolding? Is before demolding easier? I want to learn resin arts so i need more informations. Thank you in advance.
Any liquid latex should be fine! I’ve used a brand ‘meant’ for horror make up and it was the same as any other brand. Top coating out of the mold leaves a nice domed finished, for more info check out my video here: th-cam.com/video/5-VBL4k24ho/w-d-xo.html 😊
Did the black edges level out and mix in with the clear center over time or did you have to mix/shake it to cover up that clear area?
Yes the black pigmented resin pulls into the center over time 😊

May I ask in what temperature you let the resin set till the demolding? I have a lot of amine blush every time.😔
Room temperature or slightly higher than room temperature is ideal. Blush could be caused by high humidity levels and can be fixed by adding a top coat 😊

I have seen people use regular white school glue with success! They cover the back almost completely and the resin doesn't seem to stick to it!
