- I read Cultish by Amanda Montell and i would rate it 3/5, though i do recommend her other books!
MLM (Multi-level Marketing) is a marketing strategy involving a pyramid scheme where the affiliate workers don't earn a salary but rather gain perks by recruiting new affiliates.
Tupperware is a known MLM, Usborne books is not, but it has MLM tendencies.

Cults have LASTING impacts on the perspectives of the people they affect 😮 very interesting
"Anything can be a cult" therefore all cults are fine 😂 I've heard this argument a few times now and it is very frustrating. I like saying 'sometimes there is a meaningful difference. Sort of like saying all berries are the same, so what's the difference between eating poison berries and non-poisonous berries?
Hm. You read a handbook for the roman soldier as a young child...? I wonder what influence this book had on your life and perspectives...
Anyway to answer your question, yes I had a brief experience running a cult but for some reason it didn't work out. I wonder why 😅😂 But I guess the closest I got was the Japanese cult, and even then they didn't say anything to me about the cult. My Mum did briefly get involved with some MLM scheme I think but I doubt she got too involved - being an ENTP she probably saw through it all too quickly? I dunno.
hi haha yes that argument is so strange... hmm yes i guess ENTPs maybe can see through it more quickly...
i don't know i loved that book as well as history books that showed how people lived. i pretended to be a medieval peasant girl or a roman soldier or an egyptian scribe. I guess i also liked getting shamed by a book for not knowing how to polish a roman sword or something 😂
