Thank you for answering my question! Loved this episode/video got a lot of great insight and advice! Met both of you on a film photowalk back in 2023! 48:13
Love that you chatted about reading instead of scrolling and watching TV at points of the day! I’ve been doing the same thing and have seen a shift in my overall productivity and mental health. Any good mystery / thriller books you’ve read recently that you can recommend? I love that genre too!
FIRST! I just started the podcast, but I want to say I’m grateful for this podcast. Always great to listen to y’all even though I do more of the marketing side of things, I love staying up to date on what creatives are doing. Much love from Fresno California, you guys are always welcome here for your Yosemite trips! - Alex
Aw man, thank you so much, Alex! It means so much to hear that! So, so glad you're enjoying the show. We really appreciate you listening along to all of our antics, haha! Gotta get back out to Yosemite soon!!
Oh YES! I’m actually organizing a video about this exact topic right now - coming out on my personal channel soon :) But! I’ll tease at least one for now. I’m a huge Knives Out fan and love mystery novels that have a similar feeling. The author Benjamin Stevenson wrote a book called “Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone” (wild title, I know haha), but it’s an excellent mystery/comedy that has loads of that “Knives Out” energy!! One of my favorites of the year so far!
@@StevenSchultz heck yeah! I’ll be looking out for that video. Mystery is right up my alley so I’ll definitely check it out. Thanks for the reply, love your work and the podcast! Cheers
SHOUT OUT ZACK! I jumped full time WAY too early (2.5 years out of college, 6 months of savings), and I knew I had the skills to make this video business work, but I feel like it has been a stressful hindrance to my business. My expenses are super low, so I've been able to make it work with editing jobs and other filming gigs, and temp work, but it's been a dang BEAR trying to grow this thing, since I'm not great at the business generation side.
Which question did you personally connect with the most?!
A deep dive into the Bear would be an incredible episode. Let’s get cooking in the kitchen Chefs! 👨🏻🍳”Every Second Counts”
