I flew that very airplane at XOJET… that thing has A LOT of hours on it… it’s a good bird… I flew for XO/ Vista from 2014-2022

So why is the F/O in charge of the reject?
Pilot monitoring calls it. Pilot flying initiates it as they have the controls.
Why are you using a “paper checklist”? Does Vista Jet not have ECL? If not, that’s really amazing. Hard to believe that a Jet today doesn’t have an electronic checklist. Pretty outdated in my opinion. The corporate aircraft I fly are very modern.
Huh, worked at 3 part 121 carriers and never seen someone allow the FO the option to abort the TO.
Interesting. 2 man crew either pilot should have the authority to abort the flight while only the captain has the authority to commence the flight. 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for watching
@BaronPilot nah, FO sets thrust and captain replaces hand on thrust till V1. FO will call out any abnormalities, but decision lies with captain to reject.

Europe ops got off to a slow start but more aircraft on the way, Mark has been there for a month and has learned a lot about international operations it’s definitely more involved than operating in the USA. But he’s having a great time there. Hope you are able to get over there.
