Really love the design of this compared with the Flip 3. Shame that Huawei devices are still difficult to obtain in the US because of all of the trade bans.
Price is sadly too high for us here in the UK which is a shame as had it been more a competitor to the Samsung flip I would probably have gone for the p50 pocket as it is a very striking phone with a gorgeous big screen Even without Google apps integrated if it had been £1000 it would sell a lot more I think
Also pointless with the ban in 2027 here in the UK on 5g on the phones. That along with the lack of convenient Google apps it's a hard sell which is unfortunate as Huawei are high quality phones and the white pocket is absolutely stunning
@@everynameimakeiscringe2610 Google has its own security issues. Too much snooping. Always switch Motion Sensors off. It's not about having anything to hide it's about invasion of privacy. I could get by without Google, no problems. Admittedly Huawei are also questionable too.

Hey Chris just was looking at the specs of p50 pocket and GSM arena says that the China version will have harmony os and the European version will have emui 12 with Google services not sure if that is true or not

A piece of Art object, hope it's sequel will have some enhancements such as better speakers and IP rating, also adding new features like Wirless Charaging ability. But above of these I wish Hawaii made center of both Lenses Center and Outer Screen along Diagonal Line of mobile shell, also it's hard since it's not prefect Square, also the Outer Screen to be Bigger than Lenses Center. Hope Hawaii cosider these suggestions on Designing of it's sequel.
that front display screen is just way too small to be usable. seems to perform just as well across the board as the z flip 3, although ther are some thingse that it lacks like full google play store access and showing the camera preview when taking a picture from inside the phone. the significantly larger battery is a huge plus tho and the less noticable screen. probably still gonna stick with samsung foldables for the time being, at least until apple decides to finally make one themselves
The 1 inch display is quite cool for taking vlogs in a closed stage. You can even switch the camera to the uwide while recording. I quite like it as you can see on my channel
Sorry i am not going to pay more to flip my phone into half... I want to pay more for better battery life faster charging, better flat display, and a sturdy body along with a flagship CPU storage expansion and decent camera speaker. other than that is labeled as gimmicky trend.

A curved screen with NM storage expansion which is only compatible with Huawei only, no 5G support, and that google apps is not actually an apps thing is already giving me a headache. i owned a LG v60 and bitching because there won't be a LG v70 in the future, desperately looking for a successor for it!
@@simonpandey1241 performance wise it's still good. I can still live without gms. As for the battery it's still long lasting but not the same as when it was out of the box. I also use a mate 20x pen using this phone. It helps me when I take down notes especially at construction sites or just random notes to take. The mobile signal is so strong with huawei, when I go out with friends and out of town the mobile signal gets really bad. This phone really captures signal really well. They end up using my wifi hotspot
Hmm, the design of the cover seems to not have room to customize with skins or cases. Although I don't like cases in this case this smartphone screams in its design that it is intended for ladies.
