Thank you for your scanning instructions. I'm not skilled with computers but I had an important document to scan. Your instructions are the only thing that saved me. Without them, I considered pointing a shotgun at the printer and pulling the trigger!

I've made it all the way to downloading multiple "set-up wizards" and scanning software after inability to find 'scanning' in the 'properties' link of my pixma printer after opening it in "devices and printers". Gave up after 5 hours resulted in vague "error" message...& I was even plugged DIRECTLY into my laptop (Windows 11).
Hello, I have tried doing this and it did 75% work, but my Windows 11 was restarted and the settings menu is the brand new one, it does not allow me to see the manage option when I tap my printer. Please help, thanks!
literally a lifesaver the canon app it wanted me to install to get the drivers and whatnot just refused to work even on another system and the printer would "lose connection" during install and i just realised i dont even need drivers really or ig i dont need the "official" apps really... lifesaver man

Hi after the scan appers on the phone or finished just add another page and click on scan again, it will keep adding pages and in the end clock exit to save all pages as one file.
You need to use canon app in moble to scan or in laptop setup again to see it gives manage optijn or check if scanner is listed septately in printers list.
I have a similar printer. You'd have to keep adding pages and keep click scan each time and when you're done and exist, it will add all the pages in 1 file. Or if that doesn't work, You'd have to use another tool called Canon Inkjet Smart Connect, it has the option to add multiple pages.

There are three drivers, I when I downloaded the third one it worked nd I magically was able to get it.

You have download Windows Scan App from microsoft app store. Then scanner will show up.

Print needs a phone laptop or Mac connected to the printer. You can use it for copy.
