  • ESU decoders are rich with many powerful physical outputs! Boasting up to 18(!) with some board formats and combinations. We realize that can be a little overwhelming. We hope that the following video can help you use these features to their fullest potential and, more importantly, show you how to easily set them up in your locomotives!

helpful to understand about the light changes. Thanks. it's amazing how much power is in these tiny decoders.
Now if only I could work out how to install my 58823 into my BLI AC6000.

My headlight is coming on while going in reverse. I believe the motor contacts are soldered to the correct pad on the Loksound 5 decoder 58921. I've got the top wire on the positive pad and the bottom wire from the motor on the negative. I can't find anywhere on the online manuals or any video what the cv setting to get the headlight to respond as desired. I've used digitrax and soundtraxx and have had to change several cv's using leds etc. Any directions you could supply would be appreciated. Not all of the users of decoders are computer or software specialists. Some like my generation are new to all of this ie. computers, decoders etc etc.

Is there a way to get the esu decoders to echo let’s say the train is in a valley or a town and the horn would be bouncing off the buildings in the town
