Another great honest review. Having rode my friends CMX 1100 Rebel last year, your bang on about how painful it was to ride for taller riders, i'm 5ft 11in and after 30 mins gave him it back. A reasonable cruiser for the money for vertically challenged riders though, given it's a Honda and the price. Although i haven't seen that many on the road since it was released.
With regards the Go-Pro 10...Bin it! The worst Go-Pro i have ever owned, constantly turned it's self off, for no reason, had it replaced, and that was equally as bad. I bought the DJI Osmo Action 4, no problems and love the adjust ability of the mike gain on it.
Cheers mate. Can you adjust the mic gain using the DJI mic adapter? Took it out today and audio is clipping a lot. Bought the new DJI mic 2 which will be here tomorrow. I know you can adjust the audio gain on that somehow. 🤙
@@DSR1YT You can and it has a mic gain of 10 have mine on 4-5 in the helmet, works really well with the DJI wireless mic. Haven’t tried it with any other makes though. So not sure if it would be the same with Rode or Sure etc.
Great review & clearly not for the Big Lads,my pal has just got one & it suits his small frame perfectly. That badly placed Honda horn button catches everyone out 😂😂
HAHA glad to hear the horn isn't just me then :). I always end up doing it in my videos, always in a slightly different location on each bike. And no, definitely not for the bigger lads :)
Honda should be focussing on the 'larger' riders by producing a bigger bike. Some cosmetic changes are welcome too ☺️
I know mate, or maybe some flexibility with the location of the pegs etc
On cruisers, I like mid-set pegs, not feet-forward. I've had three bikes that took the ignition key at the side: Honda CD175, Buell XB12X Ulysses and Yamaha SCR950. The seat is too low on the Rebel. I wonder if they'll make an 1100cc scrambler.
It would be cool but I doubt they’ll make a scrambler that big. I personally prefer forward pegs on cruisers. Each to their own though. 🤙🤙
Is this bike a good one as the first one for beginner?
There’s always the 500 version of this if you wanted to start on something smaller. 🤙
is that 81 real hp?
Yes mate. Real HP. All to the front wheel as well. 🤣
@@DSR1YT 🤣
🤔 odd placement of pegs for a cruiser. Seems like they could've moved them a decent amount forward without being too stretched out or extreme.
Agreed. Or maybe given us the option to move them around for better placement like Kawasaki do.
Can’t understand his English
Put the subtitles on then.
i'm having a hard time understanding why this guy would even review this bike!
he's obviously the wrong height, the bars should've had risers and the
suspension wasn't tuned for him. i would only expect a poor review from this
guy..........
bit harsh, think if you watch some of the other reviews on this bike you'll find most say the same give or take.
How would i know i was the wrong build for this bike without taking it out? Most demos will not be set up for the rider, doesn’t mean they can’t get a good feel for a bike, keeping in the back of their mind that they can change some bits if it doesn’t quite suit them. Or should bikes come with height and weight guidelines and we only stick to them?
100% agree. Just a repeat of the previous rebel review.
@DSR1YT did you not review the Rebel before?
So we shouldn’t test the bikes out each year in case they’ve made changes to it? Just test it once and that’s it, never to test one again?
