Don't buy a used Beemer unless you like spending big bucks for repairs on a regular basis, that comes directly from a BMW mechanic.
I feel like i've seen this exact video, or variants on the exact same thing, reposted many many times. That or Fifth gear was really adamant on these three cars being "Cheap" and fitting basically any catagory of enjoyment

Never seen anything by 5th gear before - left England 25 years ago and it's not reached internationally like Top Gear. Nice clip, plus he can pronounce Porsche properly (like Top Gear), which adds credibility, in my mind at least. Love that Jag.
really 911 cabs got down to £10k?....wont ever see that happen again unless an absolute shed

I have a 2006 coupé 650i, what an incredible machine it is omg, it does 17mpg thou... but the noise, that rumbling V8 is beautiful (however it is "just" 4.8 litres.. the 5 liter is the V10 powered M6

even more of a bargain are the Z3s and Z4s. Also the Mazda MX5 is cheap and bullet proof and can be picked up for a couple of grand.

Poor balance
As a BMW specialized shop owner for 10+ years I can tell that “ bulletproof “ 6 series is a total FLAWED STATEMENT. I thought HE IS MOCKING Bmw owners!!! From bushings to electronics, engine supply components, seals, gaskets, coolant system problems… everything you can imagine goes wrong waaay BEFORE YOU WOULD EXPECT!!! Just the valve stem seal replacement - which is mandatory around 80-120k miles - is a 16-22 hour job !!!interior plastics rattle, color is peeling off after 1 year, window seals crack after 5 years etc… Well executed grand tourer for the first 50k miles. That’s it. No more. You need an extra salary after that to maintain and cover the extensive repairs and long term rentals during those repairs!!! The Porsche is better: it’s predictably unreliable. The Jaguar if you change and maintain what every Jaguar shop recommends, it is reliable and cheap to fix.
Why?
That 6 series spec & price is miles off🙄😂... anyways it should be the E46 M3 OR 330CI M SPORT CONVERTIBLEA competing as that was a poor choice of bmw.

....waaaaaay back in 2013, yeah 996 high mileage 911 owners where almost giving their Porsches away. Queue today 2020+ STRIKE ANY 911 Cabriolet off your short list!!!!
