      ***** I've never used one of these, but I suspect this uses led lights. I doubt very srsly that they are replaceable, but they might be if you aren't scared to go against manufacturers recommendations. All this stuff is made in China by the exact same ppl in the exact same warehouses. I bet if you find a similar high priced version of this it will have the exact same guts as this.

    Can you display your digital images on the screen (using USB to load) or can you only put a hard copy image down on the light box/tablet? If not is there another product you can recommend for this?

      @emilychoi3120 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's just a light table, so I think you can't load the picture to it through USB.

    Through this review I decided to buy it and I have no regrets. I bought the A4 one because drawing is by now just my hobby and it works very well. Thanks for this review!

    FINALLY a guy who knows how to give a REAL review! Most of these reviews on TH-cam for the Huion lightpad piss me off, “oh don’t forget to subscribe to my channel, oh this pad is really good if you’re a beginner, my girlfriend actually gave this me for Christmas”, blah blah blah, man they talk a lot of crap... But this guy ZCRACER just gets all the bullshit out the way, and goes straight into the review, this guy ^ ‘gets it’, thank you sir!!!!!

    I got the A4 one a few months to learn 2D animation with. I love it. It's so bright, and MUCH lighter than my friend's pricey artograph lightpad.

    • @fablewalls
      @fablewalls 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but to learn animation you need to register the drawings.. that means the paper needs to be held securely so that when you check your animation the drawings aren't flickering. I am probably going to end up building my own light box with built in registration clips.

      fablewalls Japanese studios just use a loose peg bar. They don't actually tape it down. Means you can rotate the stack of drawings on a cheaper light box.

  • @cundien

    Does the box included anything to keep it tilt when you drawing?

      No, I think you have to buy those separately, like most cheap display tablets

    Is it an on screen tablet? Or is it for tracing only? I'm new and I would like to perchase a drawing tablet that I can use for making animations but unfortunately I also dont have a computer. Can anyone suggest a drawing tablet that I can buy without having to connect it to pc?

    Hi. Is the light bright enough to trace over a 140 lb hot or cold compressed water color paper ?? Thank you.

    I have an A4 and have a lot of problems with it which I hope it's just mine. First of all the wire is 1 meter long which doesn't give you much freedom. Also the connection of the wire to the tablet is extremely delicate and any minor movement will switch it off. Any else has this problem?

    @nathangerman666 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm not 100% sure but the power supply says: input 110-240 voltsat 50/60HZ. Output: 12V DC 1 amp.

  • @nathangerman666

    To turn it off just give the power button a quick touch. It will dim out and turn the led lights off.

    If you neex to make multiple hand done copies, like wedding invitations, etc. this works very well.

      Let's say you are an comic/manga artist .. you made your sketch on cheap copy paper .. now it's time to trace it on special paper that hold ink and start tracing .. results is you will have clean no pencil marks :)

  • @Godschildcj21

    I bought one of these, but disappointed as there are a few drawbacks to this device
    1st Even after charging, it has to be plugged into computer to work as it can not be used independently - 2nd There are no register clips or anything to hold the drawing so useless for animation
    3rd Even plugged into computer you can not use it for drawing into a paint program, as I want to use it for - my own fault I should have checked reviews first

      Use drafting dots or tape to hold pic + paper in place

  • @CariagaXIII

    is it better than a wacom or atleast equal to it

    • @hollisblackwood3276
      @hollisblackwood3276 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A Wacom is a pen/mouse/tablet that you use to draw/paint with software on your computer. This, however, is a light table. its a flat surface that shines light through paper, so that you may trace something.. And is often used to proof photo negatives as well for photography.

      Holly Arnold yea i noticed haha forgot to delete this comment i'm an idiot didn't know the huion a3 isn't a drawing tablet i miss took it with one of the huion tablets

    • @hollisblackwood3276
      @hollisblackwood3276 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh it's cool! Yeah I can see how that could happen easily, considering all the tablets they make.
