Got mine last week. Automatic, base model, no sirius, no nav. I have all that on my smart phone and it syncs just fine. I am 65 and waited 50 years to get a Mustang. 310 horse is quite enough for me. I like the idea of a V-8, but that is the 19 year old talking! This car gives my wife the look of terror when I get on it folks! And she cannot get her hands to the dash to leave her fingerprints. Oh and she does not like leather, go figure. She by the way has the Fiesta w/all the bells and whistles, we have fun! Long trips? I'll rent a Lincoln after I land at the airport! Mine is Black Too. My first Ford was a 1957 Ford Fairlane convertible back in 1966. People, I really like this Mustang. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran and remember the Drill Sgt's driving the Mustangs. Finally got mine!
I just drove a new Focus ST and it was actually pretty nice but I still can't understand why Ford can't put individual TPMS sensors on the wheels. Chevy does that on all the cars. And it's glad to see that Mustang finally got a halfway decent transmission.
I'll tell you what's annoying... Most youtuber's act like you shouldn't even smile or get excited over a car that's not pushing 500+ horsepower. I have seen more than enough idiots commenting saying why do you act like it's so fast? It's a I4, it's not fast blah blah... I am planning to get a GT after the first of the year but not everyone is after 400-500+ horsepower. Some people actually just enjoy their cars and it's just enough for them. What is the big deal if someone get's excited over their car. Miserable people.
MCKOOKIE Hey My Ram Lone Star Hemi does the truck for me or did lol I ended up going with a Silverado. Makes me happy lol, V8 power for me. I think people love to just hate just for the sheer fact of hating something or trying to make someone look stupid.
+MCKOOKIE I have a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder Mazda from 10 years ago that makes like 160 horsepower and even it makes me smile. Speed isn't everything. It's the character.
Brett Alverson Exactly, coming from my first car a 70 horsepower 1985 honda civic i was delighted to drive a 200ish horsepower lexus 96 gs300. Its all in what makes you happy.
Y'all need to calm. If you don't like Matt's videos then don't watch them. Don't sit and talk about how the Ecoboost is a piece of shit. I would bet that likely half the people who talk shit can't even afford the damn thing. I'll admit I can't either. Matt does his reviews his way, the way he wants, on the cars he LIKES. Getting mine soon, I think I'm going with black, because as Henry Ford once said, "You can have any color as long as it's black." It'll be my first car so I'm excited as hell
I test drove a 2018 GT and EcoBoost. Honestly the EcoBoost was way more fun. It was so light and handled really well in comparison to the GT. The GT honestly didn't feel that much faster
Hey man don't listen to all the assholes on here. They are just jealous of your new beauty!! They don't realize that not everyone loves the v8 5.0 mustangs. For some people it's just not practical. Congratulations on your new purchase!!!! I have seen all your videos and I'm going to continue to watch. I'm going to be getting a 2023 v6 premium in September!!!!! Keep doing you man!!
I think the more important question is what makes you think there will be a V6 premium by 2023? Right now there isn't a v6 premium at all unless it's different in Europe. At best i can see a ecoboost 6, but im not dropping a v8 for a 4 cylinder. Ain't no way... Ain't no how. It's V6 at the bare minimum or go home.
Trolls! Trolls everywhere! It's okay they can keep their old ass mustangs that no one looks twice at. These premium interiors are really nice everyone who sits in them says ...damn! Plus I liked the ride to it makes it a easy daily driver
This car is sweet for me, I have a 99 lexus gs 400 v8 and while v8 are amazing the shit is a killer on gas, and where i live theres so much traffic i don't get to air it out often so this eco boost is def great for ppl that live in high traffic areas
Very nice to see your excitement in the new car, buddy ! I'm glad we all donated to see you in the new Mustang ;) Now I wish I could tackle some german roads in one of these, to see if it impresses me as much as you :)
I must say, I really enjoy your reviews. I've watch several different reviewers and others may be better produced technically, but you have this genuine way for getting to the core of what a good solid review should be about, and you're so much fun to watch as you step into the throddle! Your reactions are priceless, and I feel the thrill you're experiencing as your commentary takes me alone for the ride! You get right into the all the mechanical and technical detail, and you cover everything thoroughly and fairly! For me, you are the best car reviewer out there! Really really good!
drove this car yesterday. this car is very nice. i like that it actually is a normal car with a relatively soft suspension, it seats high and the visibility is not as it is in any other sport car. It is an every day driver with the looks u always dreamed about. And the power is just right.
The moment you floor it and get excited literally made me get excited.. I enjoy watchin your reviews, and your passion for cars makes me a huge fan of yours.. Keep being awesome ahaha
I love that Ford made this car, because turbocharged performance engines deliver such a nice wave a power when you step on them that more people ought to appreciate. Sure, the V8 is more fun to redline, and it's more powerful, but when you're thinking about something you want to drive to work every day AND thrash on the racetrack on the weekends, this car'll leave you with a huge smile on your face and gas money to spare. I only wish they had used the bi-turbo 3.5L Ecoboost V6 instead (THAT would've been fun). But still, 2.3L I-4 ain't bad either.
Congrats on the new car. I loved my 2011, it didn't have the little track options like the 2012+ to tighten steering and throttle response etc. I loved that car it handled well and it was very quiet and smooth especially on the highway. I replaced the 18" wheels with 19" and summer tires and it made a HUGE difference with traction. Obviously you lose a little bit of ride comfort but it was well worth it... it made it feel like a mustang should. I have not driven the 2015 but like I said I loved my 2011 and with a IRS and impressive hp/tq numbers I feel Ford has another winner.
you ignored the plastics on the center dash and center tunnel... then you claimed it was one of the best interiors... after reviewing a c7 corvette which is miles above this. i know you are biased since its YOUR car now and you like ford / mustangs... but you are not being critical like you normally are on other cars... kinda disappointing.
clovis myers I talked about the looseness of the leather and how I didn't like the gauge font as much as the 2013. Those are about the only faults of this interior in my opinion. Not biased at all. I talked about the body roll, tires not being the best, etc.
Visceral Venom wow...man i see why most youtubers just ignore the comments altogether...if u dont like it dont watch...ur lucky he even tries to explain anything to anyone when he doesnt even need to.
I just bought a 2017 mustang ecoboost mustang. Mime is the premium trim. Very nice interior. Love the pony emblems that project from my side mirrorsat night time. Car is faster than i thought it would be. Definetly enjoying our car!
I have the 2014 model, and I drove it today on some slick roads in Detroit suburbs, with stock tires. I didn't feel confident at all in it. Good thing I have a 2010 f150 4x4 to drive for the winter.
You've stepped into a whole new world of intros! I'm proud of you. Also jealous, didn't know green would look so rad. Keep it up! Wish you all the best!
The only problem I see with this EcoBoost car is the name. Calling it a Mustang means people just can't get their heads around the fact that it is a very very good car. Because not V8 OMG! When they hit the UK I'll be seriously looking into one of these.
I absolutely love your enthusiasm and love for your (then) new EcoBoost Mustang! My daughter and I have settled on pretty much this car for her next vehicle. Good to see and hear your thoughts. Looking forward to further reviews and videos!
I'm from the same area as you, Beaver County specifically, but go to college in Florida now. I love watching your reviews, not only for the cars but to try to figure out where you are and to see what the weather is like back home lol
If no one gave him money, he no anyone else like him would be able to give us these scores of great and informative car reviews that you can watch completely free of cost....they'd be too busy working a job they don't have their heart in anyway (wasteful). I support what he does, and those who volunteer to finance him.
Im thinking about buying the 2015 mustang ecoboost premium so i really appreciate you making this very detailed video and yes ik this vid is 8 years old but still this car is such a beauty cant wait to hopefully get it soon.
Just bought this car yesterday in the same color! 2015 eco premium! It’s 5 years old now but It still feels so fancy and new when compared to my 06 GT I upgraded from! Love it and your video!
Wow. Asks for donations to help him buy the car (shameful), reaches goal for base model, $6500. Buys premium model, which was an $11000 goal. Yeah prepare to say goodbye to this car next year like you did the BRZ. Live within your means.
NismoBoyz Exactly, he needs to grow up... Buy an older Honda or something that he can actually make payments on, he didn't need this car to continue reviewing, he could have borrowed one like all the other cars he reviews. His excuse was "oh I can give you guys an exclusive look into what it's like to own one," well shit he can drive one for a day and that'd be enough to relay that info. He made an excuse to make his subscribers buy his own personal car for him.
Yeah I agree. I loved his videos and respected his work, but the second I saw him ask for money I lost all respect for him. A car like this is not something someone NEEDS. I don't see why I or anyone would donate their hard earned money just so someone else can buy a car that they don't need. I understand his previous car was having issues, but you can purchase a reliable vehicle for 5K now days.
Simple as it is. If you want and believe all Mustangs should have a V8 with a manual, go buy one hahaha! I came here because I'm getting an Ecoboost soon and recently test drove one, I have to say I am in love with this car that I'm watching a youtube review about it. The 2.3 fits perfectly since I live in Cali and saving gas with traffic all the time is a major plus! Good review! I was excited just as you, Subaruwrxfan, when I test drove it hahaha!
Russell French actually, the P-51 Mustang was a piston driven single propeller fighter plane from WWII. Otherwise, you are correct it is named after the fighter plane. I own a 2018 ecoboost Mustang, and it is a great car. It even has more horsepower than my 2014 V6 Mustang. Yes, it sounds like a turbo I-4 (because it is), but overall it is definitely a great daily driver.
Let the guy be. His car might not be the fastest car in the world to you guys but it's his opinion. It's his car so he enjoys it. Enjoy your car buddy! Glad to see you having fun with it!(:
I'm probably going to watch this a million times this year because I want this car. Sadly I only make barely above minimum so I don't know if I'll be able to =(
I've got the GT premium and enjoy it greatly. A few of the visibility and seating complaints can be remedied by your seat position. My seats don't have the stretch yours do nor do I find the hood intrusive during incline driving. Try keeping your seat base more level and slightly higher and closer to the wheel. Trying to recline in the car also creates that 2 stage clutch feeling you experience. I can feel the clutch synchro at 3/4 pressure with no need of full depress. Trying that will also improve your heel and toe action for improving throttle match/response during shift and reduce fatigue during city driving. It truly is a well engineered machine, try that and enjoy!
This is such a stupid move, no one goes to a dealer to buy a mustang and is thinking oh, hope it gets good gas mileage, you buy a mustang because you want something loud and fun, im a mechanic at a Ford dealership and I can tell you that not one single eco mustang has sold yet, Ford needs to think about who the mustang is aimed at and think to themselves, hmmm would i want a 4 cylinder turbocharged mustang ? No, no I wouldn't, you're selling mustangs not evos
Since you are a Ford tech, whats the word on the MT82? I had a 2012 GT here in Canada and it just disintegrated on me with less than 11K (miles) on the clock.
No one wants bad MPG. MPG does matter. Why would I buy a car that I'm going to push hard if I can only push hard for for 30 minutes and then have to hyper mile it back to town. That and no one could be bothered to fill up every week. The car would be a pain to drive if you had to focus on finding gas stations constantly.
Mustang GT owner here. Got to drive a 2016 Mustang EcoBoost last week, and boy, was I not impressed with the little 2.3L engine's performance. The 320 lb/ft on the low-end makes everything feel way faster than 310 horsepower. It's very fascinating how this car makes more power than the big brother GT did just a few years ago - we have a video about that.
WHOAA,I didn't know it came with a woofer.Mustangs do have good sound quality though,I remember I drove a 2014 v6 premium rental and the sound was beautiful.I hope the gt has a woofer too.
Im going to be honest, its a nice car, sure, but if i would buy a 4 cylinder car, i would never go for a mustang lol. A v8 is half the thing with a mustang god damnit. If you want a good 4 cylinder, go for a subaru or evo or whatever. The v8 is the only choise, the 4 cylinder is like going with a v6 camaro, its just plain wrong
I was thinking the same thing. I do understand it's his car and that he is extremely glad to own it, but compared to what his other reviews, I do think he was being a bit biased.
I think the mustang has "Groundspeed" written on the speedometer because this car was named after the P-51 Mustang fighter/bomber airplane used in WWII. In aviation we use groundspeed to determine our actual speed over the ground.
Glad you like his style better. You do realize we aren't competing right? He's a friend of mine. I've been rooting for him ever since he had 5k subscribers, way before he blew up. I always thought he deserved more subscribers and know he'll have millions one day. He deserves it. His videos are awesome and he's a good guy. If you like his videos better, tell him. Trying to diss me with a comparison is dumb.
subaruwrxfan its the internet mate, dont worry about it. your vids are great, ThatDudeinBlue's videos are great also so you have nothing to worry about! keep doing what you're doing! :)
subaruwrxfan I like the car choices for your reviews way better than the blue guy :) Vblog is also very useful for future car buyers. Keep up the good work!
Great review Matt. The only thing is you apparently have not read that the interior engine sound on this ecoboost is actually fake. They "enhance" it through the stereo. I am surprised you had not commented about that.
Hey Matt, I'm thinking about getting one of these, but am concerned about driving it in the winter. Looks like you live in a snowy area, do you drive yours in the winter? If so, how do you set it up? Weight in the trunk, studded snows? Let me know when you get the chance. Good job on all your videos by the way!! Thanks.
Great review! Fun to watch - This kid could be my grandson and is clearly able to verbally articulate a lot of detail regarding this car while driving it!.. Well edited!!!
Muhammad Usama Ameen its definitely not biased. I've watched multiple videos now of these cars by people that don't even own them and love the car as well. Hopefully picking mine up in a few days
A lot of people may talk bad about this car, but I test drove both the ecoboost and the v6 and I pick the ecoboost. Sure the V6 sounds louder and more agrressive, and the engine does look nicer, but I felt the ecoboost push more, plus its better in gas, and has way more space to work in the engine, not to mention it has more HP and torque.
Why do you act like a EcoBoost is fast? I'm driving a full bolt on Cobra Jet 5.0 430RWHP N/A and I'm not that excited lol, Man you must drive slow cars.
Tharee MaahthePuddi AudiDriven13 Man he has to be acting "Enthusiastic" because of the supporters that want to see him happy and excited of how fast and cool it is, even though in my honest opinion I still like 13-14s better 15s are meh, nothin too exciting, don't really enjoy the body style at all. He's driven faster cars I'm sure, but lol he's over doing it...
maybe you've driven too many faster cars and got used to the sensation of fast acceleration. For people who do not experience that kind of acceleration on a daily basis, 310hp and 5.5s to 60 is fast enough to get ppl excited :)
30 years ago Ford built the original "EcoBoost" Stang, the SVO....a much better car in many ways than the GT of the day...4 wheel disc brakes, 5-lug wheels, better suspension, better looking. Perhaps 3 decades later the public is finally ready to embrace the "blown-4".
Whats with all the hate on the 4 cylinder. I'm no Mustang expert, but a 4 cylinder is not new to the Mustang. They were in the late 70s, 80s,and 90s Mustangs as well; a lot of these had turbos as well. Higher octane is necessary for these ecoboost since the compression in the cylinder is so much greater. This is probably the one downside to this 4 banger since the 6 cylinder mustang runs on regular. Although, for the manual transmission, the 4 banger gets about 5 mpg better than the V6 for city driving. This gain in efficiency will save the 4 cylinder owner money overall even after shelling for premium gas. Strangely, according the Ford website, the eccoboost manual weighs more than the 6 cylinder manual. 3532 pounds to 3526 pounds. Personally, I'd rather have the ecoboost or the big v8.
...and those 4 cylinders did so well didn't they? Or did they almost kill off the Mustang like Joel Schumacher's take on Batman? One of the two? Bad memories for those of us who were alive back then.
Ravaniscool True. And Ford is getting a lot of performance out of the turbo 4-cyl. That's not so much the issue. I think the main problem is a visceral feeling that Ford is damaging the Mustang brand by even having the 4-cylinder at all. Maybe if they just sold it in the European and Asian market, they wouldn't be getting all this hate from Mustang aficionados..
They don't actually require higher octane. On the Focus ST, the compression is 9.3:1, and it's said to be similar on this car. They will run fine on 87, they just won't make full power. But you are right about the 4 cylinder, it's nothing new. The 2.3 is an homage to the older 2.3s. The older 2.3s sold extremely well. As for being a bad motor? They didn't make much power, but they weren't bad. Here in SoCal, you can find 4 cylinder fox bodies everywhere, cheap. I've known more than one person to buy one, and swap a 302 or bigger into it.
Stupid car! They want to make a 4 cylinder EcoBoost, great, do it. But put it in the Ford Focus, not the Mustang! Horrible idea, and quite frankly, just re-enforces the feminine, sissy stereotype of Ford Mustangs, and Ford Mustang owners. Leave the Turbo Charged 4 cylinders to the Japanese cars, they've been doing it far longer, and that's where those powertrains belong, not in a pony car. It'll be a cold day in Hell before Chevrolet or Dodge do this to their beloved Camaro or Challenger. This is the biggest MUSTAKE Ford has made in a while. The Mustang name mean doesn't mean anything anymore. Should've just made it front wheel drive while they were at it.
narkZ No, of course an inanimate piece of automotive engineering can not have a gender. I never said it was a male or female. That doesn't mean it can't be feminine or masculine though. This Mustang in general, and especially this 4 cylinder EcoBoost abomination is a feminine car. Would you argue that the Volkswagen Beetle is anything but feminine? There are plenty of other cars that fall into this category. Pontiac G6, G5, Dodge Dart (ehh, the Dart's questionable), Chrysler 200 convertible, Kia Forte, and pretty much any Scion to name a few. Pickup trucks are deemed more masculine like the Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado and Ford F-series (with the exception of the 97-03 F-150.... the bubble body was a pretty feminine truck). The more Masculine cars would be the Dodge Charger and Challenger, Pontiac G8 and GTO, etc.
Guys at first I HATED the new look but I saw one in person last night pass me on the street and MAN it looked good its veery sleek for a muscle car and the back tail lights look soo good!
Great review! You are right, you can't beat the value of this thing, I am amazed at the interior quality and turbo everything Ford is going for lately with the ST's then this, enjoy that thing man!!
The new eco-boost and mustangs are very nice. I also cannot currently afford one so I can't really complain. But I do feel this review was heavily biased being 1. Matts car and 2. That "disclaimer" about the deal that was cut that he cannot talk about. When commenting on the interior "This is one of the nicest interiors" and even citing how the sound system compared to 100k+ cars I kinda lost it. Its an entry level mustang, and a 30k car. It is no where near nor as much refined as a 100,000 Mercedes, or C7 corvette. That just kinda bugged me. Grats on the new car Matt, we know you love it and were glad that you do.
I admit this is a fun car. Test drove it a few days ago and i want one so bad now. I drove a base model v6 and it was great. The handling is great, took a turn with a cautionary speed limit of 20 mph at 80 mph with no issues. I want to test the manual transmission though.
And what no one talks about is how it sounds when you fire it up. If you just sit there the turbo starts spooling the factory blow off sounds badass it sounds like the old sard r2d2. It's recircted but you do hear it sometimes
Got mine last week. Automatic, base model, no sirius, no nav. I have all that on my smart phone and it syncs just fine. I am 65 and waited 50 years to get a Mustang. 310 horse is quite enough for me. That is just Awesome! Congratulations. I hope I can have an EcoBoost of my own one day :-)
the automatic was pathetic on the old Mustang I couldn't believe how bad it was. could not even shift it but I guess they added paddles for the 2015
Yep two paddles
Do you know if the paddles automatically downshift in manual mode I believe they're still using a torque converter though
I just drove a new Focus ST and it was actually pretty nice but I still can't understand why Ford can't put individual TPMS sensors on the wheels. Chevy does that on all the cars. And it's glad to see that Mustang finally got a halfway decent transmission.

Nice work Matt. Love the color, the fast back look and all the details inside.
Nick Murray Thanks Nick!

ignore all of the negative comments, your new car is awesome and im glad to see your enjoying it! that's all that matters
Eric Bassett agreed
Getting mine soon, I think I'm going with black, because as Henry Ford once said, "You can have any color as long as it's black." It'll be my first car so I'm excited as hell

YO YO he annoys tf outta me
I guess we all see it differently. Hes perfect for what he does if you ask me

Just got the V6 and I love it...300 HP is more than enough for me. Anyone who thinks different probably just can't get over their ego lol.
+Raymond Lopez Have the same car and i totally agree, its so awesome. I recommend an axleback exhaust, the sound matches the looks
I with you Ray, to bad Ford doesn`t offer the 3.7 v6 now,my choice hands down over a turbo 4 any day.
sounds about right after driving 500 hp cars .
I test drove a 2018 GT and EcoBoost. Honestly the EcoBoost was way more fun. It was so light and handled really well in comparison to the GT. The GT honestly didn't feel that much faster
You can only accelerate so hard the V8 will go faster longer tho
My experience, the GT is still way faster. The only thing you really are feeling is the torque from the turbo.
The 5.0 will feel pretty tame below 3-4k rpms. Above that is when you’ll really feel the power difference
That sunglasses compartment. Definitely the perfect size for an extra handgun magazine

Twin turbo* not bi
Corey Ferguson Is there a difference?
EDIT: I looked it up. Yes there is. Thanks for correcting me!
That's too bad you couldn't spring for the Perf Pkg. I'm sure that would have solved your last 2 complaints.
subaruwrxfan You're a biased bitch.
Visceral Venom wow...man i see why most youtubers just ignore the comments altogether...if u dont like it dont watch...ur lucky he even tries to explain anything to anyone when he doesnt even need to.
Marcus Andre I would if I could.
I'm getting one in race red and has the 20 inche rims on it. With the same package as yours. Leasing it for 2 years. Can't wait for it to arrive!
Sweet viddy man just subbed as well :D looking forward to the updates on this car :)
His enthusiasm is genuine! I want this car!!! Great review.
Time to buy the COBB Tuner for your new Mustang. I love what they do and should be as good if not better than what COBB did for the WRX.
I just bought a 2017 mustang ecoboost mustang. Mime is the premium trim. Very nice interior. Love the pony emblems that project from my side mirrorsat night time. Car is faster than i thought it would be. Definetly enjoying our car!
The most shocking thing about this video is the pay phone that appears at 11:14. Feels like I just spotted Bigfoot.
I kept watching this video because you seem like such a fun, genuine guy. Your reaction during the sprints was just priceless.
It's snowing in Michigan and I was wondering how it drives in snow even with snow tires. I'm can't wait for your update with winter driving!
I have the 2014 model, and I drove it today on some slick roads in Detroit suburbs, with stock tires. I didn't feel confident at all in it. Good thing I have a 2010 f150 4x4 to drive for the winter.
I have a 14 gt with snows on it, had it out in the snow Monday and it did a lot better than I thought it was going to do
You've stepped into a whole new world of intros!
MarkCup70 I just bought one. Premium trim. Great sports car you will love it
It finally went world wide my guy
I absolutely love your enthusiasm and love for your (then) new EcoBoost Mustang! My daughter and I have settled on pretty much this car for her next vehicle. Good to see and hear your thoughts. Looking forward to further reviews and videos!
11:22 best reaction lol
Omg...
it was the freaking best lmao
I'm from the same area as you, Beaver County specifically, but go to college in Florida now. I love watching your reviews, not only for the cars but to try to figure out where you are and to see what the weather is like back home lol
Guys, Shut up.. It's his car.. why would he buy a car he does not love and has many cons.. Common sense.
It is a crowdfunded car actually.
Mikhael Krebs you paid for it, not him...
He didnt buy the car. U people gave him free money
If no one gave him money, he no anyone else like him would be able to give us these scores of great and informative car reviews that you can watch completely free of cost....they'd be too busy working a job they don't have their heart in anyway (wasteful). I support what he does, and those who volunteer to finance him.
First thing to do is to get rid of those stock rims and get a nice set of staggered 18's
brokencydeftwlol Says the one with Runescape videos.
the rims dont look bad but an upgrade would make it look better
18's? You mean 19's or 20's? The rims he has on are 18's.
Creed Killa Its not that i don't like the size, I don't like the style. Im sure some 19 or 20s with some nice concavity would look very nice
I honestly thought it was strange to have an ecoboost Mustang but I gotta admit after watching your vids I respect them.
Awesome review! Have you ever considered shaving your sideburns?
Sti Guy 😂😂😂
What a weirdo kinda question!
Sti Guy 😂
Im thinking about buying the 2015 mustang ecoboost premium so i really appreciate you making this very detailed video and yes ik this vid is 8 years old but still this car is such a beauty cant wait to hopefully get it soon.
this dude looks like Butthead from beavis and butthead haha
LMWO
WackoKillerDan Laughing my weave off?
Yea buddy!
NismoBoyz Hahaha! Fire! Fire! He also reminds me of the Talented Mr. Ripley dude. Lol.
Let them entertain us! Hehe, hehe, he said anus.
you can really see in his eyes how happy he is to have this car. great review
Still can't believe people gave him money....and if he is a car enthusiast, why didn't he get the track package instead of the luxury pack?
Just bought this car yesterday in the same color! 2015 eco premium! It’s 5 years old now but It still feels so fancy and new when compared to my 06 GT I upgraded from! Love it and your video!
How has that ecoboost treating you? I had no idea they were this much fun until I watched this video. Now its on my shopping list
@@jessekuchinski1172 good! I still have it. I’m a flight attendant so I hardly drive it. Haven’t even put 3k miles on it since buying it.
Nice good for you! Except not having much time to drive it, that's a bummer but absence can tend to make the heart grow fonder, that's for dang sure.
Wow. Asks for donations to help him buy the car (shameful), reaches goal for base model, $6500. Buys premium model, which was an $11000 goal. Yeah prepare to say goodbye to this car next year like you did the BRZ. Live within your means.
why would anyone donate shit to this guy? what exactly does he really do to give back to society? only car reviews? haha
As soon as I saw the campaign I unsubscribed. It was hugely disappointing to see him do that. Before then, I was always a fan of his reviews.
I can't believe people actually supported this guy...if he couldn't afford it then don't buy it
Yeah I agree.
I pick mine up next week !!!!!
+debiedog1 Did you get what u expected? you happy with it?
+Cigan Dayz Sorry have been off air. Picked mine on Feb 2 and love it. How do I attach a photo?
I dont think we can post pics, i already have mine, really happy with it :P
I've seen the 2.3i in action. Mustang may be known for muscle, but that 2.3i is REALLY quick, and it sounds amazing. A lot of Turbo whine.
Common bruh, you had a bigger reaction to accelerating this thing than the Chevy SS...
The 1st Mustang ecoboost video I saw...true inspiration that led me to buying 1....FAB!!
No muscle cars were driven in the making of this video.
When a person says I won't be biased that usually means: I'm biased be ready. He talks up this mustang like its the best thing ever made.
Dat wheelchirp^^. Are you going to buy an exhaust for it?
I'd like to get one eventually!
Sean Poole And that's completely you guys' choice :)
how about Cobb AP?
I'm sure he doesn't want to "ask" for more money.
This guy's personality man. He could the sell the shit outta cars. Cool dude
Ground Speed? As opposed to Air Speed?
sodazman it is a nod to the fact that mustangs where names after fighter jets
You really over exaggerate how fast you go. I'd probably say you were going 50
I don't understand why no one commented here but nice job man. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your reviews a lot!
I'm probably going to watch this a million times this year because I want this car. Sadly I only make barely above minimum so I don't know if I'll be able to =(
just keep grinding brother.
iMiguelAOG dang bro yeah keep working dude get two jobs and you'll be able to get it for sure I'm checking out a 2016 Thursday I might buy it
Save that’s what I did
I've got the GT premium and enjoy it greatly.
Man, i have been waiting for my GT for 7 weeks now, ordered at the beginning of november. I envy you!!! Lol
Yea because who wouldn't want more HP, Torque and better MPG?
No one wants bad MPG. MPG does matter. Why would I buy a car that I'm going to push hard if I can only push hard for for 30 minutes and then have to hyper mile it back to town. That and no one could be bothered to fill up every week. The car would be a pain to drive if you had to focus on finding gas stations constantly.
I like how youre speaking for everyone when you say "NO ONE GOES TO A DEALER TO BUY A MUSTANG"... turns out... some people do...
BMan100 simply quality control issues, 2013 model's also had this issue
Mustang GT owner here. Got to drive a 2016 Mustang EcoBoost last week, and boy, was I not impressed with the little 2.3L engine's performance. The 320 lb/ft on the low-end makes everything feel way faster than 310 horsepower. It's very fascinating how this car makes more power than the big brother GT did just a few years ago - we have a video about that.
which gt?
I think you should change your title to "Owner's Review"
The digital part of the gauges is cool. A/F ratios, cylinder head temp and the others. It's a nice car congratulations.
when is it being launched in India, I want to own one.
Come to the U S, you'll be able to drive on open highways at a good rate of speed, and enjoy the hell out of it! :-)
+Ravan LOL really? Open highways? Come to Germany mate, we have the freaking AUTOBAHN 😉
Thanks Philipp! We're all really impressed! We can't wait!
In India we neither have speed limits or cops with radar match that brah
Sukhmandeep Singh Sandhu that’s kinda bad that shitty ass country
Awesome video Matt, that sucker really does take off when you put the pedal down. Glad to see your enjoying the car
This must be the PERFECT CAR (sarcasm). He didn't say much negative things about it.
You weren't listening then
I was thinking the same thing. I do understand it's his car and that he is extremely glad to own it, but compared to what his other reviews, I do think he was being a bit biased.
He said the leather was too loose in the seats. Also, he wanted to upgrade exhaust, wheels, tires.
If you have to add the word sarcasm in parenthesis to your comment you're doing it wrong.
Maybe it is actually good?
We are all happy for you and enjoying your new ride. Keep uploading the videos about it. Thumbs up.
Looks more like Aston Martin than Mustang.
I think the mustang has "Groundspeed" written on the speedometer because this car was named after the P-51 Mustang fighter/bomber airplane used in WWII. In aviation we use groundspeed to determine our actual speed over the ground.
ThatDudeinBlue had a much better review of this car. Yes he didn't review a manual trans but it was much more enjoyable to watch his review.
Agreed
just watch ThatDudeinBlue's review then. instead of just criticising, give some advice?
Sadly not a fan of buying a mustang and not getting the v8. Just my personal opinion
Love the boost giggles! HAHAHAHA. I did the same thing in my Speed3, the first time I drove it. :)
you say no one bus a mustang for backseats yet you rip literally every other sport car for their backseats wtf
The comments on this video make me want to set the world on fire. My god. Good review sir!
"suberduberex fan here"
DUDe your reaction when you blasted it made my decision. Thank you.
Do you still live with your parents?
Do you have problems with that? if so what's wrong with living with your parents when they're good and give you your space?
David Mitchell boy do u really want to be a grown man living with ur parents? XD
Hey Matt,
I'm thinking about getting one of these, but am concerned about driving it in the winter. Looks like you live in a snowy area, do you drive yours in the winter? If so, how do you set it up? Weight in the trunk, studded snows? Let me know when you get the chance. Good job on all your videos by the way!! Thanks.
2015 fully-loaded WRX is cheaper than this car. HUGE mistake.
Great review! Fun to watch - This kid could be my grandson and is clearly able to verbally articulate a lot of detail regarding this car while driving it!.. Well edited!!!
Music was so bad couldn't even get to 1 minute...
Laweeze Morton What music?
+Faall stfu
King Johnty How fulfilled do you feel for writing that comment...?
+Faall ur mad relax
Bruh if it makes you giggle like that sign me up looks fun to drive brother thanks for the review!!
11:22 *cringworthy*
@@JCTiggs1 I enjoyed this part a lot haha
💀
Wow... I didn't realize what a bang for your buck this car is until this video! It sure seems like your really enjoying it.
It's not a review...this kid is just praising his new purchase...totally biased.
Muhammad Usama Ameen someone sounds totally jealous
Muhammad Usama Ameen its definitely not biased. I've watched multiple videos now of these cars by people that don't even own them and love the car as well. Hopefully picking mine up in a few days
Dale Hayes III well matt did not work for the car. He just made a go fund me and asked for donations. If he wanted that car then he should get a job
I always think the same thing
Tharee MaahthePuddi AudiDriven13 Man he has to be acting "Enthusiastic" because of the supporters that want to see him happy and excited of how fast and cool it is, even though in my honest opinion I still like 13-14s better 15s are meh, nothin too exciting, don't really enjoy the body style at all. He's driven faster cars I'm sure, but lol he's over doing it...
Chase G He's a car reviewer lol. Look at his reviews first and then say if he knows fast.
maybe you've driven too many faster cars and got used to the sensation of fast acceleration. For people who do not experience that kind of acceleration on a daily basis, 310hp and 5.5s to 60 is fast enough to get ppl excited :)
Ooh big man what a badass everybody is impressed dude.
Thats funny; great analogy. Yes. No doubt, those 4 cylinder engines back then were terrible.
Lulu Lawson Technology has come a long way though.
Ravaniscool
True.
Should've just made it front wheel drive while they were at it.
moparsrock An inanimate piece of automotive engineering can have a gender? Learn something new on TH-cam every day
narkZ No, of course an inanimate piece of automotive engineering can not have a gender.
The more Masculine cars would be the Dodge Charger and Challenger, Pontiac G8 and GTO, etc.
moparsrock Just thought I'd chime in here that a turbo 4 is now offered in the Camaro.
I got news for ya....the Camaro will be sporting a 4 cyl for 2016 and it will have less hp than the 4cyl mustang and its v6 model .dodge will follow
This video was worth the wait. Another great video Matt.
Really like the look of the EcoBoost. Makes lots of sense!
