For a bone stock RTR buggy,that did surprisingly well on that track. Granted it's going to be slower,considering how much this buggy weighs in comparison to the 144001 and 124019,but it wasn't all that slow overall.
I mean, it makes sense it would do decently well. It _is_ an XRAY XB4 2016 clone after all.
Good video, those tyres are definitely made for carpet tracks like this, I've ran mine twice on tarmac, off road on grass and on a gravel bmx track and they have worn out quite a bit already.
Thanks! I saw! Yeah these are carpet tires. And surprisingly soft compound even compared to the proline tires I have on my LC. Just needs more speed and better turning
First half decent review of this car IMHO. It was short, but it gave a much better sense as to how the car really handles on a track that requires precision vs. a basher outdoor BMX track. Looking forward to seeing more content on this platform and would be interested in what areas would make this platform perform better, but won't break the bank to make it a money pit.

i think a comparison video including track tuning both cars would be awesome... This car needs to be lowered some how..have anti roll bars installed and shock/sup tuning... maybe keeping the same motor and gears changing out servo and adding a hw 80 amp esc and running on 2200 3s would be a first easy upgrade that imo would wake this car up on this track...
This car doesn't have any adjustment settings, no toe, no squat, no different caster blocks, no pills, no slipper or center diff... Also, track racing doesn't allow 3S for 10th scale buggies.
What he said. You want a comparison video, compare it to a known race buggy, doesn’t even have to be the latest model.
This is actually not an LC10B5, although mistaking it for one is understandable since WLToys' other cars are based on LC Racing kits. This is actually an XRAY XB4 2016 clone.

I’ve been looking at options to get started racing with a local club in a dirt track.
I think this car would do just as well as some of the more expensive race buggies on that particular course, with a better servo.
Thoughts? Seems not wrecking is the name of the game for winning at the races I’ve attending just to check it out.
Damn this buggy was $62.99 with one battery and $67.99 with 3 batteries on Walmart a few days ago and i forgot all about it, now they sold out. So pissed.
NO WAY! Tbh you probably would have never gotten your order. There was a crazy deal once on a different car ( I forget) so I ordered 4 of them… a few days later I got an email saying my order was cancelled and a few other group members did too. I definitely would have tried to order this though!
@@413RC some people in the wltoys page say that deal comes back from time to time and they have recived theirs but you may be correct. Im happy with my $120 144010 anyway lol

@@413RC ok i just thouhht i could help and also the tie rods pop off really easy so I suggest replacing them and also the front tires are not put on correctly if you look at the tread

Definitely! I have the 12th scale brushed and brushless as well as the LC12B1 to compare

Except it kinda has, from a certain point of view. The 104001 is a cheap clone of the XRAY XB4 2016. Problem is people most people don't know that, so they treat it like "yet another cheap chinese shitbox". Which, they're right but for the wrong reasons.
In short, it's the materials that hold the 104001 back, not the design. And definitely not part support because parts for the XB4 2016 will fit this car.

I am afraid to try my brushless 144001 on a carpet track because the carpet could take fire with 120 AMP ESC and 1200 Watt motor.

If your brushless motor and ESC are rated for each other you shouldn’t have any issues with fire

the tires are designed for carpet,but its a buggy...they can go anywhere you want... tires can also be replaced for any type of track...

Most people will drive it outdoor despite the carpet tires. They can be swapped with most 12mm hex wheels and tires from amazon. I’ll be bashing this soon!

Most people won’t upgrade this car to run as a true carpet racer. Most will run it stock. I already sold it
