    I love watching your videos.. very informative and actually enlightening. I particularly love that you also include elements of isese in the back stories. Shows that Yoruba language wasn't created in a vacuum. Would be good to have an episode showing what orisas are to be venerated on which days.. Ese gbigbe asa ati ede wa laruge.

    Love your videos, learning more and more every day.
    The thing I love the most is that besides teaching us the language, I don't know about the rest but I'm super grateful that I'm also learning more about the Orisas.
    I'm cuban, omo Osun, awon Orunmila Okaransode and oruko mi ni Ayan Osun ifaomi.

    Alafia ati ìsúre, i thought, although I may have been wrong, that Ọjọ́bọ́ was contacted to abọ́ in sense of to receive as water to a cup and that was done in associating with the day the ancestors were thought to return.

    Thankyou very much, interesting part about the late father coming to a thursday wedding in spirit!! The Ose days are sometimes on a 4 day or ?sixteen day repeated cycle for the year to get the Orisa of the specific date? I follow Cuban Lucumi.

    Where would recommend the start of study. Language or religion?

    • @yorubalessons
      @yorubalessons  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is impossible to really understand the spirituality without understanding the language at its basic level.
