Chris stein was one lucky guy back then, talk about the geek & the goddess she is so painfully gorgeous.
Debbie and Chris are perfect but so are "the old guys" who interview them. I think everyone appreciates everyone. This is the way life should be
Love her voice. The New York accent just makes her speaking voice sound better than it already does. God, her natural charisma just radiates off the screen, even on a 39 year old video clip.
She was born in Florida and raised in New Jersey.

Not only was he a part of that whole scene we have to thank him for documenting it as well with his camera.
That juxtaposition isn't unusual for New Wave - David Byrne, Elvis Costello etc
That list of all their accomplishments, number one this, top of the charts that… All that hard work and creativity, and Debbie and Chris were a couple years away from being flat broke. The music industry is brutal for artists. Glad they were able to bounce back eventually.

This is really historic stuff. I remember how I felt when Rapture was new. I thought it was weird and that music was sort of going to garbage, but later in life realized how amazing the song was, and I like it now.

Was it a kiss in her mouth 0:22 , 7:24 ? Debby Harry was a very beautiful woman, but I don't know what happend to her beetwen 1982 and 1983 that she changed in her body and her face and wasn't so attractive since then.
1982 to 1983 were a dark period for Debbie. Chris Stein was near death with his disease and she and the band pretty much had to break up and she devoted her time solely to taking care of Chris and completely dropped out of the spotlight. Also during this period she and Chris got back into drugs very heavily because of the stress of his disease and the fact that Blondie broke up.
She looked hot around 1987-89 as well imo. Check Sweet and Low MV of her.
