      They are like the zany relatives that come uninvited every year at Thanksgiving and just start spouting off offensive shit all over the place, and then I have to leave because I'd rather be by myself than put up with all that crap. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, Deborah certainly has class, and has probably had to put up with worse.

      Deborah Harry. Any celebrity will Know that with fame comes with press questions. It's part and parcel. Interviews etc. Also, the public want to know about these sort of stars. Deborah is lovely and came onto my TV screen when I was 17. She is beautiful, talented and can deal with anything thrown her way. She is no damsel in distress. She is solid.

    • @azul8811
      @azul8811 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Elinor Jones
      I don't anyone is claiming that she's a damsel in distress. And we know that with fame come press questions, but some of us think that these questions are inappropriate.
      I seriously doubt that her fans in 1993 were much interested in hearing speculation concerning her parentage and ethnic background. Although IDK who the viewership of this particular TV program was comprised of, but I suspect that may account for the nature of these questions.

    • @elinorjones9396

      @@azul8811 Fame comes with pressure. A celebrity can always say. I do not wish to ansewr that questions. I am a big fan of Debbie Harry. I am also a nurse. Time to get back to work.

    • @azul8811
      @azul8811 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Elinor Jones
      The television media is ratings driven. The celebrity needs the media for exposure. I believe that there are good interviewers and bad interviewers. When interviewed by the latter type of interviewer, the guest can not appear annoyed or uncooperative since it may negatively effect their public image.
      My essential point was this. I think that there is such a thing as an inappropriate line of questions and the interviewer should gauge the type of response they are receiving from the guest instead of just plowing on. I wouldn't expect the guest to have to come out and say "I don't want to answer that question."
      In a _somewhat_ similar vein regarding the TV media's *approach* of asking questions and how their quest for ratings shapes that approach... we've all seen reporters shoving a microphone in the face of the bereaved in the state of shock who have just lost a family member as a result of a fatal fire, a horrific vehicular accident, or a stabbing or shooting etc., asking them how they feel about it as if it's in the public interest to be informed about that aspect of the event.
      BTW, I think nursing is a very noble occupation. Undoubtedly one develops thick skin.

    a lot of children start out having blond hair and then it turns dark. so the blonde hair might refer to youth. kind of like how red lipstick and blush makeup may in no uncertain terms refer to sexual arousal. not that the average person can decode these things in an intuitive way. you get people following suit and not knowing the unconscious reasons. then you get people without blonde hair in their genetics, such as Japanese, wearing blonde hair. Then it might refer to something else rather than a cosmetic illusion of youth.
