    Does the 6000 have a neutral parallel port? It appears it may be the middle plug there but hard to tell. I want to try to parallel it with a Westinghouse igen11000dfc.

    Nice review. Since you seem to do a lot of generator reviews, can you hook up two different manufacturers generators to increase out put. Like can I hook a Genmax 3500iAED to this DK4000iAED to increase their output (They look identical) Wondering if it would work for a Yamaha and Honda, or Champion and DK4000 ?? So I guess the question is: Are the hook ups the same or do they use different plugs/cord/controllers.

      Depending on the unit, you might be able to get it to run but you’ll likely need to install a soft start accessory, which would likely eat up any $$$ saved.

    With proper power management, would the 6000 work for a electric only house. Hot water heater, oven/stove top, central heat and air. Proper power management as in use one appliance at a time.

      I think you would be better off with a 7k or 9k Generator for home backup.

    My large RV has an EMS system and doesn't recognize these floating bond inverters. Are there direct plugin 30 amp or 50 amp (for paralleling) bonded neutral plugs that i can plug my 50 amp cord into?

    Two other questions:
    1. Any idea what magnetic oil dipstick might work with this. Perahaps the WEN 55201?
    2. Can the DK6000iAED easily be modified so it is floating neutral and used with an interlock?
    Thanks! and great video as always. Cheers

    • @EcoEnlightenedEducation
      @EcoEnlightenedEducation ปีที่แล้ว

      I take it the DK6000iAED will connect to a home transfer switch and it does not need to convert to floating neutral. Is that right!

    • @duckthis17
      @duckthis17 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm wondering the same thing since I would be buying one for my home which has a 30 amp power inlet.. A review on Amazon says the Neutral is bonded, which would not be good, being house panel is already neutral bonded. I am thinking there must be a way to disconnect the neutral on the Poxurio 6000. @@EcoEnlightenedEducation

    • @GeneratorReviews
      @GeneratorReviews  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s just a typo on Amazon. It’s actually a 60 Hz.

  • @EcoEnlightenedEducation
    @EcoEnlightenedEducation ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Gavin! Hey does the DK6000iAED have the same issue as the GenMax GM6000ied in that it’s 120 and 240 but does not have a switch that must be flipped to change between the two. Without the switch does it mean when you are on the 30 amp circuit you only get half the rated power verses 240 plug where you get both circuits giving full power. In other words, can the generator's full potential be utilized on just one leg so it is useful for 30amp RVs? (for a home backup generator and 50 amp RVs this should not be an issue).

    • @GeneratorReviews
      @GeneratorReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You actually don’t need the switch to perform that task. The only thing that switch does is turn off one leg.
      Your RVs are only equipped with 120 V appliances

    • @EcoEnlightenedEducation
      @EcoEnlightenedEducation ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GeneratorReviews so the 30 amp RV limits the generator to only one leg and just like with the DK6000iAED you can therefor only pull 1/2 the rated power from this generator. So if all you are going to do is use this generator with your 30 amp RV you might as well save some money and go with a smaller generator. (Although with this larger generator running your 30amp RV you have the ability to use the 120 plugs to say, power a fan and blender that are outside next to your folding chair.)
