I don't know if Vinny will see this, but if he ever wants to do the lost levels without having to torture himself in getting all the bonus levels completed and such, there is in-game cheat codes to access all of them. On the screen where you pick your savefile, you gotta press L, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L, R and then A. It should then allow you to enter in letters. If you enter WATER then confirm it, once it throws you in the game, you need to go to the banana bird cave at the top left of the map (past Wrinkly) with the ski boat and complete it to get all the bonus coins. Keep in mind you won't be able to get 103% if you do this tho, the game will remember you cheated to get the coins. Hope it helps!
Kong Fused Cliffs really was challenging for Vinny, I notice sometimes when he loses he tends to do worse, the difficulty is really starting to spike for him

Any time you see a banana in a Donkey Kong level, it can be safely obtained. If it looks like the banana tricks you into jumping into a pit or something, then there's generally a barrel under it or something.

Not sure what capture card he’s using but if it’s not a PCIe card I would definitely recommend one. I’ve used an internal capture card for years and having less than half a second of delay or no delay with the pass through is amazing. USB capture devices I’ve used usually have around 2 seconds of delay.

Given I beat the GBA version when I was 7 I really don't get how this is so hard. I mean, I didn't go for 100%, but in terms of just getting from point A to point B and finishing the game, it's honestly easier than DKC1. Either that or I was just a platforming god as a child.

I've woken up so early on a New Year's Eve that I'm not even sure if 'woken' is a word, and I'm listening to Vinny sing the praises of cheese like "preach vinny" I like this.
This is the Stream where the Game becomes Mixed Bag, and it becomes almost indecipherable between good and bad, cause it all blends together. It doesn't throw off the average already established very much... But you can tell the bad levels are becoming more bad, and the fun levels more, tainted. The Balance is still there, but it tilts, and badly in some stages.
I went back through and completed this game 103% after the first stream just to see if maybe childhood memories were a bit different looking back. I'm thinking I remember this game the most out of the series because I was stuck on it the longest. Going back, it's okay, but a lot of the game is kinda bullshit. It's rewarding to complete, but it kind sucks the whole time you're playing it. A lot of stages come down to full memorization, especially to get the bonuses. Not going to say I don't like it, but going back, it's definitely not as enjoyable as DKC2 or 1.

You can unlock the lost world by circling arround the circle shaped stone formation while using your turbo on the overworld.

Not sure what capture card he’s using but if it’s not a PCIe card I would definitely recommend one. I’ve used an internal capture card for years and having less than half a second of delay or no delay with the pass through is amazing. USB capture devices I’ve used usually have around 2 seconds of delay.
So I’m not the only one making strange noise habits because of Vinny, good to know

I mean, on one hand, it's clear Vin is rushing the game and not enjoying it as much... but the saltiness is pretty funny. I dunno if I've ever heard him blame hitboxes so freakin' much and it's clear he was way off or something... and the odd sounds and deemcee voice. Not that I like to see him mad, but it'ssss funny. :P DKC3 isn't a bad game. It's not the best DK game at all, but it's still really good. I honestly think it's because of Goemless Kong and the game starting with Stilt Village's music and the fact it's kind of a half water level.... like, no joke.
Ok I might be clinically insane but I just played DKC 2 for a good bit after playing a lot of DKC 3 and I actually found myself liking 3 more than 2

Given I beat the GBA version when I was 7 I really don't get how this is so hard. I mean, I didn't go for 100%, but in terms of just getting from point A to point B and finishing the game, it's honestly easier than DKC1.
Either that or I was just a platforming god as a child.

Also having replayed them far more recently than he has, I don't think he realizes how similar to DKC1 and 2 this actually is, CBT segments included.
Honestly I feel like half the reason people hold DKC2 in such high esteem is that it's genuinely the easiest DKC game.
And, like, I don't like to throw around the "mad because bad" accusations lightly, but there are definitely vibes of that in all 3 parts of this series.

The trend is he plays poorly at night because he's forgetful and not paying attention, and then he plays poorly in prerecords during the day/afternoon because he doesn't read game instructions.

I like this game and the only "shit level" would be the anti gravity ones, and even those are pretty acceptable.
ive picked up on vinnys gutteral and duck sounds when i fuck up in video games and its genuinely a much better way to express anger than how i used to express it

I don't even like this game that much and it's definitely the weakest in the trilogy but watching Vinny struggle on some of the easiest stuff in this game and then calling it bad design or the like when 2 is especially ball busting for most of its run time is so annoying
So many of his problems would be solved if he just held in the Y button or actually timed a jump, it's actually maddening. You can only blame "shitboxes" for so long before it gets old

Vinny I hope this short video helps with OBS but this fixed my problem instantly when I followed it. All its basically saying to do though is put the source as a Audio Input Capture and as a Video Capture Device. Hope this helps.

This is the Stream where the Game becomes Mixed Bag, and it becomes almost indecipherable between good and bad, cause it all blends together. It doesn't throw off the average already established very much... But you can tell the bad levels are becoming more bad, and the fun levels more, tainted. The Balance is still there, but it tilts, and badly in some stages.
I went back through and completed this game 103% after the first stream just to see if maybe childhood memories were a bit different looking back. I'm thinking I remember this game the most out of the series because I was stuck on it the longest. Going back, it's okay, but a lot of the game is kinda bullshit. It's rewarding to complete, but it kind sucks the whole time you're playing it. A lot of stages come down to full memorization, especially to get the bonuses. Not going to say I don't like it, but going back, it's definitely not as enjoyable as DKC2 or 1.
