One very important note to anyone who has factory led turn signals these will not work. Sadly I found out the hard way and when I was finally able to reach the manufacturer had no solutions to make these work on my 2018 Silverado without the hyper flashing. They worked great until I turned on my running lights.
@@PhastekTrucks I just email them and they told me the only choices were "chrome or unfinished". I have a black truck and wanted the black but chrome and unfinished are the only choices when ordering from their website. looks like I need to check into it a little more.
@pauljolry The Unfinished option was installed on the truck on this video. It is a Black finish but it is not a high gloss finish like the factory paint.
$3500 UP grade to do this as grill, hood.header sport and front bumper are totally different but this can be done but not cheap as I have did it to a 2014 .2014-2015 are by them self and 2016-2019ld are the same
On the back of these headlights there is a vertical adjuster and a horizontal adjuster. If you look on one of the last photos in our listing, there is a photo of the back of these headlights showing you the horizontal & vertical adjusters. You will need a phillips screwdriver. www.phastekperformance.com/Morimoto-XB-LED-Headlights-Black-Trim-p/morimoto-lf542.b.htm?TH-cam&Morimoto-16-18&Truck
Thank You for the video, however after looking at several videos on replacing the headlights I didn't hear anyone mention the tape being provided on the new headlight inner bezel
Mine came with the tape. I guess it's an update and the best place to find updated instructions is on the Morimoto website. Also, he got the sequential option right during the first part of the vid but wrong at the end. For sequential turn signal, the connector needs to be disconnected.
Like Michael said, it was an update after our video was made. You should get some double sided tape that will allow you to mount the bezel to the front of the headlights.
Why can't you get these for 2014 Silverado 1500 ?

Price headlights front silverado z71 2016 new
Can you get color match trim or just come black?
The trims are only available in the Black and Chrome finishes. Color match would have to be painted by a painter of your choice.

Do the DRL's run by themselves when operating daytime like stock or do the parking lights have to be on or headlights on
you have to run a fuse to the fuse box
Also finding these lights about a hundo 5 cheaper at American Trucks.
Where can I get them?
So what happens when an LED burns out? Is it replaceable or not?
I got a question for you!
Are they making headlights (same style you are replacing) for a Silverado 2500 HD 2016
If they do can you add a video?
Can these fit on my 2015 LTZ? I thought the 2014-2018 had the same headlight shape
Did you figure this out because I also believed that it was 2014-2018

@@bigdaddy69Z28 wow good to know I really did believe that 2014-2018 was no change
Yeah but the price isn’t nice
7:28 exactly what corrections did you have to make to make them point in the right direction? can you elaborate on that point
Is this possible in a silverado 2021 custom?
No, these lights will not fit the 2019-2021 models.
How do you aim these?

Can i ever swap out the led bulbs incase i want something brighter? Or is it all just a one piece thing?
The headlights are a sealed unit, so the bulbs are not replaceable.
@@PhastekTrucks wow.. what's the warranty?
Morimoto offers a 5 year warranty on their headlights.
@@PhastekTrucksand, if the bulb goes bad?
@@ardcifliku if before 5 year warranty then you would get a brand new headlight. But if after 5 year warranty then you're sol. Lol
Can you buy replacement bulbs for the XBs if one goes out?
