Jaina is cool now but back then she was such a annoying character and rexxar hasn't had any major lore since Warcraft 3 sadly, I think malfurian is the best lore wise but cool wise I would say maybe azshara or chogall
malfurion is having a superman issue...the character is so powerful he;s not interesting to read about. he's this epic unstoppable good guy thats really attuned with the planet and can summon an army of whisps that destroyed archimonde with enough prep time. in BFA you can see him stopping an entire orc battalion by himself, aswell as sylvanas, without breaking as sweat. he takes down sourfang, without breaking a sweat. he fought a nightmare that consumed cenarious,a demigod...and ysera, the aspect of the dream....nothing interesting happens there. malfurion shows up,saves the day, wins. hell,he could probably cure plauged lands if he wanted to. Jaina starts out as that innocent sweet girl studying magic, goes through alot of shit to try and make the world a better place, and for all her effort, she gets her hometown nuked and her besties murdered....so she's not trying anymore....the opposite, she figured that a better world isnt one of peace, but one without the horde that keeps fucking things up. she;s going through alot, she;'s got some character development that most nightelves dont...tyrande,malfurion,maiev etc...
I read a theory that the "five torches" refer not to the pillars (too obvious) but to the five world trees, Nordrassil (crippled in WC3), Vordrassil (the failed tree in Grizzly Hills), Shaladrassil (consumed by nightmare, even cleansed, is it broken?), That one Il'gynoth sits in (was it real? Either way its very dead), and of course, Teldrassil (only you can prevent forest fires)
Woah! I just noticed you have 500k+ subscribers- congrats man! Last time I checked it was at least half of that- You've come so far- Past Nobbel would be proud~
omg that animation is great, with Dolan as the barkeeper aswell xD only love for you nobbel, great man :D i just realized i have been with you since the beginnings of pandaria aswell... wow, what a journy!
i was just going through some of you and pyrmancers old videos to see what you guys had speculated in the past, thanks for saving me time and doing it yourself!
Can the she, who already died twice be Azeroth? Tyrande even says she lived through two cataclysm, she doesn't want to see a third. Well, Sargeras' sword could have been very much that third one. As we see more of Battle for Azeroth, it's getting clearer that the impact of this is greater than at least I've thought first.
Nobbel, you have come a long way since this video & your knowledge has become massive. Your speculations have some valid points and/or have come to light in some form or fashion. Thanks for all that you do & keep'em coming
Wow, the nostalgia. I remember watching the first video all those years ago. It's what got me hooked on Nobble and I've watch so many of his videos since. Keep up the great work man! You have made my days much better being able to watch all of your lore vids :)
I loved this vid, you put yourself out there and can laugh at yourself. I'm horde all the way but still like to see your alliance point of view. Never stop doing the great content that you do Nobbel. Peace from the horde ....for now ;)
I hope the gallywix theory is true. I've been wanting to murder that slime since Cata As for the master's table, Referring to Anduin himself, the table is his table. Where he tells the three lies. One to the people of the Alliance. One to the people of the horde (Saurfang) One to himself (Him not being influenced by the power of Azerite)
I honestly loved your beta videos. Its what got me into WoW more heavily when I was debating on if I wanted to keep playing all those years ago. I went through vanilla, BC, Wrath, and by the end of Cata, I was feeling meh about it. I saw your beta videos and thought okay this looks good and he obviously really loves this game. I stayed around for the lore and you helped get me into lore and being the "lore guy" in my friends group, but it allllll started with those beta vids for me.
That audiobook with Alleria also had some lines about how the Light sees the world as one single truth to follow while the Void sees the possibilities and views all of them as true, there's some wiggle room for the 3rd death to refer to Alleria without Blizzard having to pull the trigger and kill her off. Perhaps the climax of BfA is saving her/Turalyon to close/avoid the opening of the portal that will invite in the Old Gods/Void Lords.
If you guys are wondering where Alleria mentions "dieing twice", go to the bridge at the front of Stormwind. Alleria and Turalyon are at their statues. This dialogue is supposed to be watched before you recruit the new allied races.
I really liked this. I have watched several of your lore and speculation videos on what expansions would be and thought I wonder how he feels if he was so close or so far. Here's to hoping you do more of this.
I remember these nice, soft spoken videos. They used to help me sleep. I get most people want that pewdiepie/taliesin high energy hype but, to each their own i suppose.
Hi Nobbel! For the circle of star that you mentionned, you can already check it in game! If you go in the Deepholm and if you fly above the temple of the earth, and look at the sky you can see an octopus who refers to N'Zoth.
"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming." If sylvannas ends up being the end boss or a major antagonist, we could immediately see an old god expansion.
MoodayTV problem is that Sylvanas has already died 3 times: at the hands of Arthas in WC3, when she threw herself off Icecrown Citadel after the death of Arthas, and betrayed and killed by Godfrey in Silverpine.
Per the Nyalotha/N'zoth angle... In one of Preach's recent vids on the new BfA dungeons, he mentions and shows a part inside the dungeon in Stormsong Valley (in alpha), where if you swim down deep enough, you can see these massive MASSIVE tentacles, and if you get too close to them you die.
"At the hour of her third death" After you turn in Illidans message Tyrande will mention how Azeroth died twice, once during the shattering and once during the the cataclysm and how she prays that this wont be a third.
"The boy king serves at the masters table".. Might imply that Anduin is somewhat manipulable by other faction leaders (well, Genn) or even specifically spymaster Shaw. Given that, we may see the second lie play into the events leading up to the burning of Teldrassil, may give us a clearer picture on this?
The arrow thing is explained at the very beginning of the audio drama, although not very clearly. Also, that Prophet intro. Never stops being hilarious.
Wasn't the "at the hour of her third death" thing confirmed to be Azeroth? Her first death being the sundering, her second death being the Cataclysm and her third death being the Sargeras sword in Silithus?
I don’t remember where this is from but some book or something has Alleria saying the way she controls the void and can ignore the whispers is her love for arathor and she doesn’t know what she would do if something happened to him (just saying this seems to hint at something)
Nice video. I love the lore video because they help to understand the story that is but a video as this help to understand what possibly will come and enjoy it more when I am playing. I love a good story and found blizz story very good but only saw what is happening now and in warcraft you have to connect the dots to understand why something is happening. That's were you are helping, Noble and you're doing a great job. En zit niet in met het feit van een accent, als vlammig is mij nog erger ;-)
I believe that the phrase 'Boy-King' is a self-fulfilling prophecy, not in the lies, but in the name 'boy-king'. Calling him boy-king has led to us calling him boy-king and not the other way around.
Hey Nobbel, curious to hear your thoughts on this. I think the "She" mentioned in the whispers could be Azeroth herself. There's the line from Tyrande when hearing about Illidan where she mentions having lived through two cataclysms and hoping she would not live to see a third. Since the old gods are embedded deep within Azeroth and both during the Sundering and the Cataclysm they had major roles in initiating the events that would lead to massive destruction of Azeroth, do you think it's possible that there could be some massive world ending damage that would set them free? Just speculation on my part but I'd love to hear your opinion :) Edit: Looking back on this I do think it is also interesting to note that both the Sundering and the Cataclysm took place centering around the center of the maelstrom. Being that we can see stars through the eye of the maelstrom this could lead to the entrance to Nyalotha.
With the new Windrunner Comic being released, we know a bit more about the Alleria speculations. If Anduin is the boy king (who serves at N'Zoth's table), which is very likely (and he's a priest, which are known to become corrupted by the void), then it would explain why Sylvanas, Warchief of the Horde and 'incarnation' of the aspect of death is (quote) "The true Enemy" according to the whispers in Alleria's head during the comic. As she already died twice before, her third death could either be embracing the void on Argus, essentially becoming a powerful void entitiy (and therefor a minion of the Old Gods, even though she currently fights it) or the possible loss of her family, especially Arathor, which she claims is the only things preventing her from going mad. In conclusion we have "the boy king" who already serves at N'Zoth's table and this powerful void creature, who is close to turning into an all-out old god minion, supported by a crazy-for-revenge sorceress with genocide tendencies and a crazy-for-revenge wolf-guy, who is afflicted by a mysterious curse along with his people as the alliance leadership [vs] the Banshee Queen, the incarnation of death who wants to, essentially, turn all of Azeroth's population into undead. These Undead have a mind of their own, BUT they're probably immune to the old god's corruption (Arthas and the Scourge weren't affected by Yogg, even though they lived in a giant Saronite castle) and have no real emotions which could be used to corrupt or turn them. With Sylvanas being not only the enemy of the Alliance (and thus the Old God's minions and their companions, which lead the Alliance) but also planning to make all of Azeroth's population immune to Old God influence, it's clear to me why the whispers call her "THE TRUE ENEMY" and try to convince Alleria to kill her on sight. DISCUSS! :D
i watched every single wow related video you have done so i thought....why is this feel like my first time in my life i can see what you look like irl i can finaly see who this magical voice belongs to lol pls more nzoth videos !!!
Ever consider the hour of her third death not being singular to an individual. Perhaps this is referencing the 3 Windrunner sisters. Two of which have died (actual and assumed) and that leaves Vereesa. Perhaps she dies, the third death of the Windrunner sisters. If she dies at the hands of Sylvanus, it would no doubt send Alleria off the cliff and perhaps her void abilities can be a beckon for their coming. A thought, no matter how silly it may be heh
Do you think it might be Jaina who died twice before? Once when Arthas became the Lich King and we had to murder him, and then when Theramore was bombarded and she lost her people and her mind and the color of her hair. :thinkingemoji:
Lord Ravenholdt. Is a lord, has a raven in his name and he's a leader of rogues. And rogues got ravens everywhere. And his job is pretty much to turn keys
Hi ther Nobbel! I was curious about your opinion of Necromancers, if we players can play them one and what ther talents could be? I know we have DK but ther is not only on class that have kontrol over the undead. I would love to hear your opinion. BTW love your vids. 🙃
"Her hearth is a crater, and we have filled it." I say Alleria. I mean old gods are just pawns of the Void Lords. And now Alleria is the leader of the Void elves.
If it happens to be Alleria then I'd rather like to see she losing control maybe because Arathor himself is brought in a near Death state and Turalyon then sacrifices himself (or he could just fight her off, but having him sacrifice his life would be more in line with Arathor dream) to bring back Alleria into sanity.
What if Ny'alotha is the realm Sylvanas went to when she died? From what I understand, the realm hasn't ever named and was described as "the endless void, the dark, unknown realm of anguish" with her body falling on a bed of Saronite. I think the evidence for Alleria as the woman dying a third death but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the possibility of Sylvanas making a striking a deal with the Old Gods (as that seems to be well-within their modus opperandi). And from some of the context around the realm, it seems like a possible realm of death.
It is kinda known that some on blizz are watching your video´s, but do you think they might have taken tips from them and implemented it. And which is most likely in your opinion?
I would actually love it if they decided on the alliance leaders becoming influenced by the old gods and making some questionable choices in what they feel is a just choice. Would be a nice change of pace and a hell of a lot more intersting than "hey guy, Sylvanas is going crazy again! Time for a new warchief!"
"At the hour of her third death, it will usher in our coming" - Its Azeroth. The Planet. Death #1, The sundering. Death #2 the Cataclysm. Death #3 Sargeras Stabbing silithus. Just a thought though, its how I see it.
Whispers of ill'gynoth, could these have been just visions of the void and much like xeras visions can be overturned? I mean Elisande was supposed to have seen every possible outcome and yet her visions were wrong. Maybe we were supposed to seal the rift which would then cause a reaction and unleash Nzoth, then again what did Xal'atah mean when we have given them a foothold at the argus fight. Maybe Sargeras saw something when he looked into Azeroth and stabbed her with the intent to kill.
Nobbel do you think that "Her third death" is maybe Old Gods were referring to Azeroth herself? You know, she suffered two shattering and maybe it refers to a third one after Sargeras stabbing Azeroth.
I don’t know much about the story of sylvanas, but going along with your speculation that aleeria will release the old Gods, I think it’s possible that Sylvanas is the one to kill and stop aleeria, assuming that aleeria gets corrupted and such.
well, technically speaking, sylvanas only died twice. In Arthas: Rise of the Lich King, it is described that slyvanas can feel the peace of death finally enveloping her, but suddenly Arthas takes her soul and forms it into the banshee. while yes, it is taking her soul out of her body, she didn't, technically, die. it was not described as her dying, feeling and seeing nothing or something good on the other side. she was still, somewhat, conscious as arthas did that to her. so it could be that somewhere in BfA she will die again, a third time, and the old gods will pop up because of this, just as il'gynoth had told us. But i know it's a long shot and blizzard might say that "yeah no she died and Arthas resurrected her as the banshee" which would kinda suck since it was in the book (made by Christie Golden, who is now apart of the lore department, so maybe she will keep to true to, at least, her books). But hey, that's just a theory... a WoW Theory! (cringy i know)
Regarding the boy kind, we shouldn't forget that those whispers are also meant to deceive us. It doesn't say that they boy king KNOWINGLY gives us the lie. he will OFFER 3 lies, not tell nor lie to you. anduin is shown in the shawn/azerithe cinematic to be unsure and easily manipulated... so... and he did respons rather unique to azerithe.
Hello, Nobbel. I was wondering what you think of the High Elf debate that has been going on for a while. Alliance players have wanted High Elves for years and when the rumors of the allied races began to flow, people thought this would be the time to add them. Instead we got the Void Elves, which look cool and unique but feel like they were made up from scratch. Since then, people have uploaded High Elf videos on TH-cam and made countless forum threads. There's even a manifest on Facebook with ideas on how they could be implemented. The playerbase seems very split on the idea and for now even Blizzard seems reluctant to give High Elves. Although I am a Blood Elf fan and I like the Void Elves too, I still support High Elves as an allied race and want to see them added to the game in the future. But I want to hear your thoughts on the matter: Would you like High Elves as an allied race on the Alliance? Perhaps you could make a lore video about the High Elf exiles with some final thoughts.
Something I would like to see is a return to Northrend, more exacly to explore Azjol-Nerub in all it's full glory! We could explore more of the new Lich King and maybe a return of Kel'Thuzad. Another thing would also be maybe alittle more of the Legion sometime in the future. What happend to them after the Fall of Argus and loss of their leaders. I would like it if the legion kinda turned into how the Zerg became in Brood Wars. So basically the Legion is no longer a super big mean threat but more just factions doing their own thing whatever that may be. Some Dreadlords maybe joins up with the Old Gods, some just plunder and destory like they used to before. They maybe pop up here and there kinda like the Naga have done in the past. Who knows ^^
Do you think the boy king could be refrencing to wrathion, he calls himself a prince, and he told alot of possible lies. And his dad would be a king that was turned into a pawn xD.
Hey Nobbel i just wanna bring up a theory that Tyrande is the the one with the 3 deaths..After illidan want to bring her the Crystal she says : In my lifetime, I have twice witnessed a sundering of the world.Mother Moon, i pray i dont see a third. Maybe the third "Death" is when the horde burns down teldrassil and some speculation about malfurion dying, maybe all this will drive her insase or something idk :D what do you guys think about that?
"We're looking back at how Nobbel went from whispering into his microphone into enunciating every single syllable"
"That's Jaina! That's mah chick!" - Past Nobbel was indeed adorable.
Jaina is still my chick.
#teamjaina.
Sorry, i'll have to go with #TeamRexxar :> But I respect your team and your chick, my friend.
Jaina is cool now but back then she was such a annoying character and rexxar hasn't had any major lore since Warcraft 3 sadly, I think malfurian is the best lore wise but cool wise I would say maybe azshara or chogall
malfurion is having a superman issue...the character is so powerful he;s not interesting to read about.
he's this epic unstoppable good guy thats really attuned with the planet and can summon an army of whisps that destroyed archimonde with enough prep time.
in BFA you can see him stopping an entire orc battalion by himself, aswell as sylvanas, without breaking as sweat.
he takes down sourfang, without breaking a sweat.
he fought a nightmare that consumed cenarious,a demigod...and ysera, the aspect of the dream....nothing interesting happens there.
malfurion shows up,saves the day,wins.
hell,he could probably cure plauged lands if he wanted to.
But Malfurion makes sense since he is like 10000 years old.
The fact this man predicted Legion before WoD even came out on Nixxiom's channel is still nuts to me.
I think you became more Dutch as you got older.
I think you mean more over exaggerated
I think the term is "less restrained", not "more Dutch".
More comfortable with his own voice now for certain.
Woah!
I just noticed you have 500k+ subscribers- congrats man!
Last time I checked it was at least half of that-
You've come so far-
Past Nobbel would be proud~
"Why are you quitting World of Warcraft?"
"Will of the Forsaken nerf."
"Barber shop is introduced but I can't change my skin? I quit!"
"Orc not green enough".
"everyone can breathe almost forever under water now"
omg that animation is great, with Dolan as the barkeeper aswell xD
only love for you nobbel, great man :D
i just realized i have been with you since the beginnings of pandaria aswell... wow, what a journy!
i was just going through some of you and pyrmancers old videos to see what you guys had speculated in the past, thanks for saving me time and doing it yourself!

I hope the gallywix theory is true. I've been wanting to murder that slime since Cata
As for the master's table, Referring to Anduin himself, the table is his table. Where he tells the three lies.
One to the people of the Alliance.
One to the people of the horde (Saurfang)
One to himself (Him not being influenced by the power of Azerite)

Anduin did learn more about the price of War - that was the entire questline with him on the Broken shore. the best part about the Broken Shore.
Oh funny XD
Oh Nobbel, you spoke so slowly back in the day.
Shawna Pelander and softly
I remember these nice, soft spoken videos. They used to help me sleep. I get most people want that pewdiepie/taliesin high energy hype but, to each their own i suppose.
pewds is a lot calmer these days - he said he hates to fake energy
Hi Nobbel! For the circle of star that you mentionned, you can already check it in game! If you go in the Deepholm and if you fly above the temple of the earth, and look at the sky you can see an octopus who refers to N'Zoth.
Oh great The Prophet, tell us, what is the nxet expansion going to be after Battle for Azeroth?
freezaplanet419 the back side of Azeroth that no ships ever return from or the awakening of Azeroth?
"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming." If sylvannas ends up being the end boss or a major antagonist, we could immediately see an old god expansion.
Isn’t Crendor the WoW prophet? Lol
K. Syndae no.
How did you even come up with that idea?
MoodayTV problem is that Sylvanas has already died 3 times: at the hands of Arthas in WC3, when she threw herself off Icecrown Citadel after the death of Arthas, and betrayed and killed by Godfrey in Silverpine.
I think your"C' Ya" is what make you endearing to us. It's now your signature move. I loved this video, keep it coming.
3 deaths, 3 major destructive events of azeroth, sundering cataclysm and Sargeras stab
😂😂😂 i just love the Stewie from Family Guys crazy laughter at 2.24. Lovely video. Keep it up man.
That a great video! You don't see a lot of people go back and see if they were right or they were wrong! Loved it!
It is a bit interesting that Nobbel's accent is much more prominent nowadays than in that first video he made =P
"At the hour of her third death" After you turn in Illidans message Tyrande will mention how Azeroth died twice, once during the shattering and once during the the cataclysm and how she prays that this wont be a third.
So proud of you, Nobbel ^_^ You've come so far
Enjoyed this format btw, it’s great for background asmr, too.
The Tidesage's in stormsong in kultiras mention something about finally "seeing the circle" before they die.
I believe the third death bit was referring to Azzeroth and the sundering, cataclysm, and the big sword.
I remember nobble for his "how to solo" videos.
Well its just a theory a wow theory thx for watching
watching your old videos as a horde main is hard. xD your new videos are ao much more impartial and focused on the lore.

Loved the video Nobbel :) Glad to see this kind of content, I do want to see more.
it's interesting how far you've come. the evolution of Loremaster Nobbel. "what a long, strange trip it's been"...
I don’t remember where this is from but some book or something has Alleria saying the way she controls the void and can ignore the whispers is her love for arathor and she doesn’t know what she would do if something happened to him (just saying this seems to hint at something)
Feel like boy king and drawing strength from earth could still refere to wrathion
Nice video. I love the lore video because they help to understand the story that is but a video as this help to understand what possibly will come and enjoy it more when I am playing. I love a good story and found blizz story very good but only saw what is happening now and in warcraft you have to connect the dots to understand why something is happening. We kind of got a dinosaur expansion... sort... of?
20:40 Alleria isn't neutral? She's the leader of the void elves, Alliance. And turalyon is the emissary/leader of the Lightforged, also Alliance.
I believe that the phrase 'Boy-King' is a self-fulfilling prophecy, not in the lies, but in the name 'boy-king'. Calling him boy-king has led to us calling him boy-king and not the other way around.

Do you think the caverns of time is part of the twisting nether?
You know content cops arent just videos, but *events* , when references pop up even in dead periods.

Have you thought about doing lore discution streams on youtube?
Hey Nobbel, are you going to make lore videos on Heroes of the Storm?
past nobbel and now nobbel are both so super adorable
make a video giving us your best guess about what the next expansion will be after battle for Azeroth
And his job is pretty much to turn keys
wtf i thought i was the leader of the rogues ;) kappa
can you do more hearthstone card lore or what ever they are
Hi ther Nobbel!
Did you say Vereesa AND Rhonin got killed ? 18:20
About the three deaths. Could that be refering to Azeroth? Shattering, Cataclysm and The Great Stabbing? Thats three deaths, right?
In my mind came a raid inside of azeroth in the end of Battle for Azeroth where we fight agains the void/old gods and clean the titan of azeroth.
You know, she suffered two shattering and maybe it refers to a third one after Sargeras stabbing Azeroth.
another great vid would love to see something like this again
Your video with nixxiom is the first video i watched for him and let go deep into other videos and channels like yours
Love caption of Jaina at 6:42 .
I don’t know much about the story of sylvanas, but going along with your speculation that aleeria will release the old Gods, I think it’s possible that Sylvanas is the one to kill and stop aleeria, assuming that aleeria gets corrupted and such.
Omg! New tides of lore! Yaaas
When in doubt, just say it happened in an alternate reality.
Loved this video...........more please 😁👍
Sleeping city of Nyalotha...sleep... dream...nightmares.
The last part is the best!!! We're gonna see the dinosaurs after all, not worgen uprising nor murloc invasion
Jaina will meet C'Thun's Tentacles at a rather personal level
Garrosh also pissed off the Tauren. you know, the voice of reason and wisdom within the horde.
Hey Nobbel, what if Wrathion is the "boy king"? It's a long shot, but it could certainly be a possibility.
I love everything you do, keep it up
Could the boy king be wrathion?
2:39 is MINE NOW >:U 41:48 suramar animal park huh? future nobble will be proud
well, technically speaking, sylvanas only died twice.
(cringy i know)
Fingers crossed for a Story Of tomorrow ;)
Ever tought about making a Podcast? cause i listen to you in the background when i play ^^
What if the crater whisper is about Jaina's mother?
Do you think the boy king could be refrencing to wrathion, he calls himself a prince, and he told alot of possible lies.
And his dad would be a king that was turned into a pawn xD.
I take offense, I can stop trying to open the Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron as soon as I open it.
Your laugh is incredibly contagious hahhaha
