The reason you found Zello is the similar to mine. Church and communication with the sound room.

No walkie talkie app will work without internet of some kind. So for many places outside the city especially places that the navy would go a CB raidio is still necessary. Still fun when around town

So far they use a regular over the head headphones like the Sony MDR 7506 - If I hear anything else I will chime in and let you know.

I'm going to the SHOT Show Tomorrow in Las Vegas. I currently use Voxer and I'm pretty happy with it, minus lack of Real Time Video. Do You believe Zello is worth moving my team over to tonight? Any Bugs? How Accurate is the Mapping? Does it work with Google 3D & Streetview?

Zello is good especially since it's free, but I would test 1st before bringing the entire team over to it, it's not buggy but there is a slight learning and practicing.

Yeah, ok but internet phone work the same way and no charge when using wifi. So, again, what is the advantage? I had used the wifi phone years ago.

Karlon Cromwell ok. Sometime I just don’t check. Yeah, I remember in mid 2000 I’ve tried it but at that time it was a demo trying and after this, some fees but much cheaper than cell communication. 👍
