He doesn't try to question the culture nor try to explain it. He just absorbs it all in and takes in the experience all the while being open-minded and respecting their culture. Hello Madagascar from your Austronesian brother from the Philippines. I can see some similarities in our food. 1. Fried banana = Maruya (Filipino). We use plantain though. 2. Candied young coconut = Bukayo 3. Chiken noodle soup = Mami 😘

You always hear about foods from different regions but this guy actually goes to the home country to get an authentic sampling. It amazes me how people come up with tasty concoctions regardless of what ingredients they have on hand. People make due with what they have and the results can be amazing. By the way, the scenery was gorgeous too. Makes me want to travel to Madagascar now.
Surprisingly, all of it kinda similiar to Indonesian food... Satay (skewers) stew with sport chicken (soto ayam, with ayam kampung), mouth/nose zibu salad (rujak cingur, actually with a cow), such similiarities, though apart thousand miles away...

Madagascar food is very similar to my hometown the Philippines. The sweet coconut candy we called it BUKAYO (brownish color using brown sugar) originated from Lingayen, Pangasinan. Their sausage we called it longaniza are made from various provinces w/c has its own distinctive taste and flavor. Veggie salad is called archara and so forth.
I can't stop watching this Madagascar series. I wish they upload more. I would be happy with new edits, bloopers, a unedited version. Whatever they can give.
A nice video about our culture, our food 🍲 culture. Malagasy people are generally very friendly and simple. Madagascar is a beautiful country,The beaches were great, warm water, some natural park, waterfall, beautiful coast ❤️. To see a baobab tree! Though Morondava, a city along the Western coast, is perhaps the best place to see baobabs (it's home to the oft-photographed Avenue of Baobabs). Once there, everything is very affordable.The street food is awesome.You can eat vary sy laoka the main food in Madagascar (rice and rice topping, which could be greens, pork, chicken, egg, etc.) for less than a quarter. Travel is also easy in Madagascar. Life is pretty chill and you don't overstressed here. People are welcoming and the culture is very special and nice ! Everyone should visit this country once in their life.❤️❤️🇲🇬🇲🇬Proud to be Malagasy

Madagascar is a beautiful country,The beaches were great, warm water, some natural park, waterfall, beautiful coast ❤️. To see a baobab tree! Though Morondava, a city along the Western coast, is perhaps the best place to see baobabs (it's home to the oft-photographed Avenue of Baobabs).
Once there, everything is very affordable.The street food is awesome.You can eat vary sy laoka the main food in Madagascar (rice and rice topping, which could be greens, pork, chicken, egg, etc.) for less than a quarter. Travel is also easy in Madagascar.
Life is pretty chill and you don't overstressed here. People are welcoming and the culture is very special and nice !
