It's so nice to see someone who put so much effort into the care of such a tiny little life. I'd be scared of taking care of someone so small; I'd be imagining all the possible ways she could get hurt. Strange how the care of such a tiny being can be such a big responsibility.

@@EdsterIII Monogamy is, interestingly enough, common among a variety of different rodents species and their relatives. We study empathy and social structures of domesticated Norway/brown rats to better understand our fellow humans. We're really not as different from them as you'd think.
@@marycassatt6542 I realize that. It eas a bad attempt at funny. Irony that we call a "cheater" a rat yet some rats are monogamous. I've studied some primates and Bonobos can be really um out there. Taking a new mate in front of the old one.
We all have similarities and differences. That's why its so fun to study and learn.

Yes, love all Gods creatures.💜💙💖💞🐾🐾🐾🐾😁 i grew up on the farm. Played in the bales of hay and in the corn bin/ building. Dad had a huge bag of corn ready to be fed to the farm animals. I found a nest of baby mice in the fur it's mother had pulled from her own body to line their bed. It was awesome. I never told anyone because they would have been killed. I'm a softee. Lol. Im 70 and have been an avid 501(c)(3 ) non profit kitty animal rescuer for over 20 years now. It's not my nature to hurt anything. I find a daddy long leg and safely carry it outside or lady bugs or praying mantis, i protect. Maybe if we all work in unison it would start to heal our planet. Thank yo everyone

There's nothing more satisfying than caring for a tiny thing! The buzz you get when they trust you or how you see them get well and leave. It's a funny thing about us humans, like having pets. I mean why did we desire furry animals to share our homes that don't help around the house or work? Company? Even when we have friends and family we keep pets. It's a strange but lovely thing.

That mouse looks like it went through so much, this lady was an amazing person trying to risk her life and save this little fellow. I love that she would spend her time and get up and feed the mouse so that mouse could have a loving life. 😊

I remember my parents took me and my siblings to a house in the middle of nowhere to pick up a litter of orphaned field mice. We had never had any experience with mice, so we took them to Mary Jane, a rehabber we were close with.

This is one VERY fortunate baby mouse!
To have initially been spotted amid all the foliage on the ground, to have not been seen by a predator beforehand, to be scooped up and cared for before being adopted by your human mother!
Then to have been tended to with such compassion and care, to make sure you grew, then grew stronger, was the best that any vulnerable baby animal could ever have hoped for.
But, as with all baby animals, you gave back too, you brighten the life of your human mother, and you've both brightened the lives of those of us fortunate enough to be able to see your video!
