  • Well I decided to get something a lil bigger and have really been interested in the Kicks for a while. I at first was going to get the 2023 Nissan Versa SR but kept leaning towards the Nissan Kicks and went for it and so glad I did I mean what an amazing vehicle with so many features.
The Nissan Kicks SR Premium has features like parking sonar, rear automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and vibration, auto high beams, rear cross traffic alert, intelligent forward collision warning with auto brake, pedestrian detection with auto brake front and rear, remote start with intelligent climate control that automatically heats or cools car based on temp, intelligent surround view 360 camera system with multiple views such as front-both sides-rear-right curb side for wheels and a birds eye over view, 7 inch half digital gauge cluster screen with so many different screens you can choose like a tachometer-digital speedometer-distance follower-MPG-vehicle safety suite-music-tire pressures and so much more, zero gravity front seats (fit my 5’11” frame amazingly and give good posture), push button start, rear seat occupant or item reminder with multiple options to alert you, 8 inch audio screen but looks larger even, Nissan Connect with Telematics APP, SOS Button, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, 8 speaker Bose audio system with driver seat personal headrest speakers, primatex seating material thats very durable in gray and black with orange stitching and better than our Eclipse Crosses leatherette, wifi hot spot, apple car play and android auto4 usb ports (2 front 2 rear), center console with storage, led headlights, led drl’s, led tail lights, led fog lights, 17 inch titanium alloy wheels, auto up down driver and passenger front windows, vehicle security system, adaptive cruise control, active ride control with integrated dynamic control using engine braking and brakes for ride and handling (options to turn on and off in 7 inch gauge cluster screen, 10 air bags, electronic parking break, sport mode, 7 inches of ground clearance, huge interior front and rear and you sit high in the rear like stadium seating, massive cargo bay (25.3 cubic ft which is several more than our Eclipse Cross and you can tell by looking), great mpg 31 city 36 highway 33 combined, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, and I could keep going.
I just decided to go for it when they had the exact Nissan Kicks SR with the Premium/Technology Package(s). It was the exact color I wanted it in the Boulder Gray Pearl and had the Titanium wheels I wanted so it was meant to be. My mother in law has this exact one too 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium/Technology in Scarlet Ember Tintcoat (Red) with a Black Roof and Titanium wheels and she bought it almost 3 months ago. My co worker Kathy also has one exactly like mine in Boulder Gray Pearl but her has the Black wheels and she got it like 2 weeks ago. The Kicks feels so refined and this top model one is insanely equipped for $26,000.00!!!! I will miss my Mirage however and it was a great car and its a shame 2024 will be the Mirages last year. I got $14,810.00 for a trade of my 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage SE with 7,300 miles and it was a great deal because Kelly Blue Book Trade In Value was like $12,500.00 to $13,000.00 max. so I was thrilled. I figure Timbrook Nissan in Cumberland MD will sell it for $18,000.00 comparing online to other used loaded Mirages. Outright Private Selling Price on Kelly Blue Book was like $15,600.00 give or take a little but I did not want the hassle or doing all the work and I like to go to the dealer and be done and swap cars and leave with a new car every 2-3 years lol.
Thank you to everyone who watched all the Mirage videos and loved them and I hope you give me a chance to do some neat videos on the Nissan Kicks and you will watch and learn things about it with me. Thanks again!!!

Yea I know it was a sad day but Timbrook Nissan said it was the cleanest used car they had seen and only had 7,300 miles on it and I got an amazing trade on it. So I hope it goes to a good home whoever buys it lol.

Honestly, I think that Mitsubishi should make a Mirage based crossover. It could be a sales success given the United States' obsession with crossover SUVs. Glad you enjoy the Kicks though, they are really neat little cars. As long as you don't think of it as a direct replacement for the Juke, anyways.

Oh no way thats so cool. Alright I sure will!!! Vroom. Vroom. It feels very peppy compared to my Mirage and so far the fuel economy is amazing on the Kicks I am shocked at how good and I will be curious what I average over the next 2 weeks on this tank of gas.

@@kmckenzie2461I am intrigued to see the Kicks future. You’re not a paid reviewer, but you’re much better than any reviewer. You’re a real man and speak your opinion and it’s ALWAYS genuine, and you know what you like because you certainly love every vehicle you purchase. I trust you to recommend something over KBB or Motortrend or someone.

Thank you! Well first off I loved the color (Boulder Gray Pearl $395.00 Option), the compact size, refined driving experience and good fuel economy but most of all it was all the features and safety features that sealed the deal as it is unbeatable at this price point. I listed most of them on the videos description. You get Bose audio, surround view 360 camera, park assist, tons of safety features and even has auto braking when baking up to avoid collisions, heated seats, heated steering wheel, push start, wifi, primatex zero gravity seats, remote start, adaptive cruise, digital gauges, Nissan Connect with SOS and app, and so much more for $26,000.00.
Nope I traded the Mirage. We still have the Eclipse Cross but will be trading it. I trade every 2-3 years usually. I didnt get the Mirage cause the 2024 was identical to mine and 2024 was their last year or I would have bought the redesigned model. Its a shame.

I heard older cars you change it early. The dealer says change it every 5,000, there is no break in. And the manual says no break in, but to change the fluid every 3,750 miles.
I should add, there is 2 times to change the fluid. Every 7,000 miles is ONLY if you have nearly 100% freeway driving in under than 90F weather.. Which is nearly no one.
So it should really be changed every 3,750 miles.. But for the 1st change I did 750 miles, and the oil was filthy. I'm glade I changed it. I didn't want little metal fragments from the new engine being in there for 3,000 more miles. So I changed it. It was only $20. I did it my self. @@edgaryzen4925

@@edgaryzen4925 I never keep any car more than 3 years lol. I like to get a new one every few years. I did my oil on my Mirage every 6 months. Five Star Mitsubishi recommended every 6 months or 7,500 miles which ever came first and Nissan recommended the same exact schedule for this Nissan Kicks and the first 3 are free. I only put like 1,500 to 2,000 miles on every 6 months but still had it done religiously every 6 months.

Nice ride. Getting away from the mirage? Is the Nissan awd? Cvt made by Jatco? Has Nissan come around to what they used to be in 1990s?

@@nintendoatarikiller Yep FWD and is a Jatco CVT like the Mirage and all 6 of our Mitsubishis and I have had no issues. All in how you take care of the car and maintenance agreed.

Yes its a Jatco like all 6 of our Mitsubishis were and the the Mirage and we had no issues ever on any of ours since 2015. Thew new Nissan Jatco CVTs are much better and you can research what years had problems back when. This model and year CVT has been very reliable overall just like the Jatco CVT in my Mirage. I take care of my cars and do all maintenance plus I will only have it 3 years max and it will have 15,000 miles at most. My 2021 Mirage SE I traded on this was 2 years and 4 months old and only had 7,300 miles when I traded it lol. The quality and solidness of this vehicle is insane and the features are insane it feels like a luxury vehicle compared to my Mirage. I did extensive research as I always do.

@Jonathan-mp7xg I didnt want AWD or an SUV I wanted a car or a CUV. I looked at the Versa, Sentra and Altima. Briefly looked at the new Chevy Trax but the Kicks beat it feature wise by far plus its its first year out and there will be bugs. The Altima was way to big and sat so low you had to climb out and same with the Sentra. I was originally going with Versa SR but the Kicks had so many more features, much roomier interior and huge cargo space so it was a no brainer. The driving refinement and features is amazing. It feels so solid.

I would have thought you go RVR (Outlander Sport in USA) instead. Enjoy the new ride.
I also recently went with a big upgrade myself - the old 2018 Outlander PHEV has left us, but a new 2023 Audi Q4 has replaced it.

Well damn! Thats great congrats! Well we had an 2016 Outlander Sport GT (RVR) from 2016-2019 and it was great but the new ones in the USA do not have near the features this Nissan Kicks has. This Kicks is crazily well equipped. For $26,130.00 I could find nothing close that came with a 360 cam, front and rear automatic emergency braking both, adaptive cruise, super nice seats, Bose Audio System, led headlights, led fog lights, led tail lights, parking sensors, its just crazily well equipped and so many more safety features. How you liking the Q4 thats awesome!

@@Plisken65 can't replace an engine if it doesn't have one. The Q4 is pure electric.
Also, my previous car is an Audi A3 that had 130,000 on the odo before I traded it in. Other than a transmission mechatronics unit failure (covered by warranty at ~80k mark) the car ran like clockwork. Audi dealer was also excellent in service.
