    Oscar - Total Thrown - 587 Total Landed 122 - 21% Hit Rate
    Floyd - Total Thrown - 481 Total Landed 207 - 43% Hit Rate
    Oscar - Power Punches - Thrown 341 Landed 82 - 24% Hit Rate
    Floyd - Power Punches - Thrown 241 Landed 138 - 57% Hit Rate
    Numbers don't lie. Oscar did excite the crowd the last 30 seconds of every round. But he lost this fight. This was not a SD. This should have been a UD for Floyd. Do not disagree because you don't like Floyd or just because your guy lost. Just Facts.

    Floyd is a boxing genius. He will exploit your weaknesses and all it takes is 3 to 4 rds for him to notice your habits then he'll capitalize on those. For example, in this fight he'd jab to the body so Oscar would cover low and Floyd would simultaneously throw a strong, quick right hook that lands solidly. Floyd adapted this after noticing his lead left hook was getting partially blocked. However, you don't measure Floyd and Pac's performance against a 2004-2008 Oscar, he's a C+ fighter

      @Flexb123 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      KIngping is 100% correct and everyone knows that. A washed up Oscar almost beat Floyd. Literally Floyd beat him by 1 round on 1 judges score card. They had 1 year to do the rematch as per contract and Floyd opted to retire instead of face him again. And Floyd, the guy who calls himself money, passed on the biggest pay day of his career at the time? Come on. He knew he barely won and might not get lucky a second time, esp considering Oscar knew exactly what he was dealing with. He also knew Oscar was at the end of his career and retiring soon so why give him another chance to put a L on his record. He will be gone soon and has the W over him so he didn't want it a second time just incase.

    Good close fight. I think Floyd clearly won the final 4 rounds and Oscar definitely didn't win all of them before that. I had 115-113 to Floyd. Oscar could have done better if he kept on with his jab but he clearly fatigued in the last defining rounds, which Floyd capitalised on. Floyd was able to do so because he was more accurate and didn't waste energy like Oscar did early on. Good fight, better than I'd expected from reviews I'd read.

    DLH's CORNER is much to blame for his effective jab going away. If, as Steward said, Oscar had simply lost focus, then it is the job of his corner to alert him to the fact and not just take up space like potted plants at the end of rounds. Same goes for Foreman's corner in the 'Rumble in the Jungle'. When they saw George punching himself out against the rope-a-dope, they should have said, "Stop that, man!" I seriously think the results might've been different.

    Love Oscar, and think a prime Oscar beats any Pac, but lets not forget...Oscar called Manny out to fight at 147. Manny came up due to Oscar asking for this fight. Dont blame Manny for what Oscar created.

    Guys- boxing expert here. Let me help you guys. The problem with this fight is that Floyd did not fight. He took the money and run against a shot fighter. This is not how torches are past. Mayweahter dropped in this fight with us historians here.
    Floyd still does not have a signature win and I wont be voting him for the Hall of Fame. Worthless fighter.

    Oscar was getting to Floyd in this fight he just didn't have the power or intensity to do anything, plus he stopped using the jab for some reason. Freddie Roach had the right approach to this fight he knew how to beat him Oscar just couldn't execute or pull the trigger as they say. Manny on the other hand is more than capable of doing this.

    I'm not even a Mayweather fan but I don't see how one of the judges scored it in favour of ODLH, I thought Mayweather clearly outboxed him. I scored it 8-4 for Mayweather, I think it was even after 8 rounds but then Mayweather won every round. I personally believe Pacquiao has a good chance of beating Mayweather.

    @rugald009 if oscar wood'nt have pressed the fight floyd wood have picked oscar apart even more than what he did. oscar didnt stand a chance with floyd! mybe if they had fought 5 yrs earlier things wood have been different. ODLH couldnt do anything with floyds speed. none the less it was a really good fight thx for your opinion bro stay up son

    @koolxjames3 unanimous means all judges had the same person winning the fight.It's a split decision win one of the judges has the win going to the other fighter

    I disagree with Floyd snr. If you go by the points system, punches landed count more than punches thrown (like in the amateurs, its a punch that lands that scores) and Mayweather clearly won on that. If you go by aggression, control of the ring and control of the tempo of the fight, I'd say Oscar appeared to dominate the fight, but that's just Floyd's game. You have different judges with different decisions because it depends what the judge values.

    Larry marchant knows nothing about boxing missing in boxing is just like missing in soccer a goal counts only when the ball goes in the net not when it passes by it or hits the post the team who takes more shots doesnt win the team that scorers more wins
