I have been playing Origins with my irl friends, and one of them played as the Inchling, and if was really funny how tiny he was. When the threw something on the ground, it would be microscopic.
We also had a chisel mod that lets you take pixels out of blocks, so he was going around creating tiny little homes that the rest of us couldn't get to, and it was honestly really cool to see. He ended up switching tho because he said it sucked. But if you ask me, it looks really fun.
I know this is 2 years later but did you simply use both mods in the same modpack or did you need to put in more work to make them compatible? I wanna do the same with my friends

can confirm: ive played an origin server before as merling and once you get conduits and good loot, you basically can survive in both worlds and also mine SUPER easy bc of water ravines. merling is surprisingly op guys

Honestly, one of my first picks would be Inchling.
The Merling, Cat and Phantom are the normal game options. But Merling is too hard to play, Cat has a severe disadvantage with the mining thing, and Phantom isnt my favorite. But inchling is too much adorableness and the sneakiness is too good. Just sneaking under stairs is amazing.

I had an origin idea, I would call it the Mothling.
The benefits would be like a mix between the Elytrian and the Inchling.
It would be slightly faster in light levels where monsters could spawn and slower in darker light levels.
It would have 4 hearts, and would be weak to fire.
It would also be immune to fall damage and kinetic damage.
Bit overpowered, but it would be pretty cool.

-No fall damage
-Hard to hit and PvP

SCP: SMALL EMERGANCY
This small creature is very small and agile, it can climb any surface and go almost anywhere.
ATTENTION: DO NOT LET IT ACQUIRE SUGAR, IF IT DOES NEUTRALIZING THE TARGET WILL BECONE EXTREMELY HARD.
Normal weapons can be used, lava buckets are advised to neutralize the target.
Unfortunately I don't know who numbering of the SCPs work, so please just know that I had numbers in mind.
U should add a wolf mutant in origins smp
Wolf:
Pros-
(Wolf eye's)Can see in the dark.
(Power of the pack)When u are with your packmate u deal more damages [only with other wolf mutant].
(Power of the moon) when the moon is at it fullest the wolf get more health, move faster and attack faster.
(Wolf bond)Other wolves won't attack u, even if u attack one
Cons-
Can only eat meat
(Lone wolf) when by yourself for too long u become sad and lonely which make u slower and have less health [wolves & player can help get over being lonely].
(Savage wolf) When your food bar is empty u will attack every mobs and players in your sight [until your food bar is 2.5/4 full].
Sneeg, you could make stone stairs and place tunnels around the world that nobody would notice

Imagine if Technoblade's origin would be like a piglin so if you give him gold, he trades with you. But the disadvantage is that that thing's he trades is something already in his inventory.
For the piglen origin
You have 20 hearts (40 health)
You do double damage when nearby other piglens
Double damage with crossbows
Double damage while nearby lava (25 block radius)
Double damage in the neather
Your immune to fire
Can only use gold armor and swords
You jump higher (5 blocks) and your faster (5 speed)
When given a gold Ingot from another player you get 1/20 of your xp bar filled
Down sides:
You are weak and slow nearby water both giving a negative effect of 3
You take quintuple damage from snowballs
You are very weak in snow biomes (weakness 10)
You have fast metabolism (hunger 3 or 5)
You loose 5 to 10 hearts in the overworld
Neutral:
You look zombified in the overworld

I think Techno would be cool as a Brute. Pros: Strength when in the nether, Axes do more damage (Ex: Wood Axe = Stone Axe Damage), Carrots = Steak, Gold Carrot = Golden Apple.
Cons: Can’t eat meat, can only wear gold, (needs more cons but that’s all I got)
