One thing I love about these videos is he starts off letting you know what he is using and to use whatever the hell you want to use. And the final result is always superb
Kosmo I absolutely love watching your grilling videos for sure!!! Oh and those beef short ribs turned out amazing I thought even for my first time ever trying to smoke anything ever!!! They could have been a little more juicy but they had enough!!!

I had Kosmo Cow Cover and Dirty Bird to put on my steak and it was great. I didn't do the grind at the end but the flavor was amazing. I added 1 Chipotle pepper to half a stick a butter and that was a nice heat kick. As Darian says you do you.
Great video 😍 my perfect doneness! Where can I purchase the grate from, perhaps it's a grate from Hasty Bake? Kind of hard to tell from the angle shots of the video.
Hey Q! I have purchased thousands in your seasoning. No other seasoning comes close. Can I use that grill rack for the awesome hash marks? I have a master built 560. Where do you get it from. Also. What thermo probe do you use? Thanks
Appreciate you! The grill grate is KEY for awesome hashmarks, we get ours from GrillGrate: www.grillgrate.com/ Thermo probe is the ThermoPro ThermaPen: www.thermoworks.com/thermapen-one/
I watched your other video on How to Cook a Ribeye Steak and cooked just like in 2015 we won the world steak championship. You said to use Cow Cover Hot. So I bought it and love it. But watching this video you say use, Sizzlin Burger Rub & Garlic Jalapeno Rub. So which one is the best? I just ordered the Duck Fat spray. Thanks
Hey, Kosmos? I love your channel! Your methods are absolute Bible to me! With that being said, I have a question that might be a little bit of a challenge for you, if I may. I'm an amateur who's improved dramatically thanks to watching you. I have a fold up, square grill I got for $59 and my girlfriend has a cheaper round gas grill. Do you have methods that could help us more....ummm....ecomically disadvantaged folks more? Thanks, Kosmo's! Not trying to poke the bear.
Check out our Weber Kettle videos! They'll be a big help. The most important thing is trial and error. Once you get it figured out, stick with what works.
Do you let the steak sit out the whole hour or do you put it in the fridge. A friend recently showed me that you kosher salt one side of the steak and let it rest on the counter until it sweats, THEN add additional seasonings (like granulated garlic and pepper). Then let it sit for a bit longer, flip it over and repeat on the other side. It seeps all that goodness back into the steak better than putting all three on at once (supposedly). I tried it and it was noticeably better than adding all the spices at once.
All these rubs by Kosmo and all the other TH-cam chefs need to be used sparingly for best results. Way too salty if you load it on like their videos show. Don't get me wrong, I love their rubs but not at the same level they apply them.
Butter, or booter? You’re still cooking it comp style. At home the only way to go is using the backside of the grill grates. Get that nice even sear on the entire steak.
Dude I was wondering where the shit y’all went.. TH-cam doesn’t give me updates when you guys upload.. I haven’t gotten a notification in over a year… I had to go searching for you guys…
Dang! Make sure you've still got notifications on because we've been putting new videos out every two weeks since March! Glad you found your way back, appreciate you 👊🏼💥
Quick tip for a better steak. Wrap the steak in three layers of paper towels. Put in frig on a pan over night. Flip steaks over in the morning. Remove paper towels in the evening and repeat for one more day. Take out the steaks on evening two. Let them get to room temp before cooking. Believe it or not. This is like a short two day dry aging. You won't believe how much better your steak will taste.
I can't stand how these guys try and sell their seasoning! Salt, pepper, garlic powder and butter is all you need! I would never use a rub on a good ribeye!
Awesome job - but a waste of some good charcoal - please tell me you use it to cook something else - I cannot waste that heat - maybe some onions and peppers - mushrooms - grilled corn.
recently gifted the 'seasoning" , so i' thought i'd at least watch a video.... lol nothing new here, just another guy cooking a steak, its not rocket science. seasoning isn't the best, but its certainly not the worst.
To much work. Weight on the steak, duck fat and more. Get your charcoal grill screaming hot, like 700° hot and Kingsford will do it. Skip the fancy ass charcoal. Throw that steak right in the center of those coals on the grate. 30 seconds and rotate, not flip. Another 30 seconds and then flip. Same thing on the other side. Want it done more, leave it on longer. We'll done is a mortal sin. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Kingsford is what my dad used because that’s all there was. Kingsford is full of fillers and the loss you get by time it’s ready to dump is way too much. I personally use B&B
Boom, we did it again 👊🏼💥
Are those steaks one inch thick?
Texas beef and cow cover is my go to on steaks 🫡🫡
One thing I love about these videos is he starts off letting you know what he is using and to use whatever the hell you want to use. And the final result is always superb
Glad to see him back doing TH-cam. I remember he took long break.
Appreciate you! You have some catching up to do, we've been putting out new videos every two weeks since March!
Love the game changer at the end. Cheers all
Solid Vid. Love the new seasoning line. Really like the Prime Steak too. Daughter calls it Volcano Dust!
Kosmo I absolutely love watching your grilling videos for sure!!! Oh and those beef short ribs turned out amazing I thought even for my first time ever trying to smoke anything ever!!! They could have been a little more juicy but they had enough!!!
That’s awesome!!
I tried Cow Cover on chicken quarters yesterday evening….delicious!
So happy to see you back with video's, I'm definitely in for the rub combo,South Africans are meat eaters, and we like a good spice
This combo is insane!
If there is one rub I'm going to hunt down is it the Carlic Jalapeno rub,my taste buds says it's a big YES
YessssirI have had Kosmos in my kitchen for years now haha. Use it every week. Your channel got me into grilling and tbh cooking.
Great prep i love very jalapeños
For a little thicker ribeye what would still let go for 1:30 before rotating/ flipping the steaks?
Beautiful grill marks!
Appreciate you!
Whats the little grinder called? Gotta get me one of them jewls.
I would like to know the same information.

That tequila lime rub, is 🔥
Kosmo can you tell us what brand grinder you’re using at the end?

@@KosmosQ Very similar to your $10,000.00 steak video; the rub used on the competition cooked steak.
Looking good Kosmo! The finishing dust is definitely a game changer!
Love your Cow Cover!

Running to buy steaks brb lol
Need to get those seasonings. I use Texas steak seasoning from your brand right now and it comes out great
You're gonna love this combo!
Steak looks bomb!
D, I love you bro....but your production crew is second to none! See y'all at the tailgate!!!
Appreciate you!
Man I love your turkey brine, it was the best turkey I ever had, thank you.
So glad to hear that, appreciate you!
Love you work

I just tried the Cow cover and Texas beef this week on a coulple prime ribeyes... 🔥🔥🔥 AMAZING
Always a solid combo!

Trying it after grandson wrestling tournament this Saturday thanks brother
Enjoy!
Cow cover and Cow cover hot with touch of texas is my baby on my steaks... haven't found anything better.

Where can I find that warming rack!!?
I love this process. I use it every time I cook steaks.
That rack actually comes with the HB250. Not sure if they sell one separately though...
Im addicted to kosher salt an hour before then season with Kosmos SPG and cow cover. Thats my go to
Do you let the steak sit out the whole hour or do you put it in the fridge. What’s the gloves you are using?
Oh Yeah! Money FOSHO🔥🔥🔥
Where can I get that grinder at?
Amazon!
Do you recommend salt brine before cooking?
We didn't for this one, but you could! Especially if you're cooking a thinner, less marbled piece of meat
How come when I use that amount of rub on my steaks, its always over salted?
All these rubs by Kosmo and all the other TH-cam chefs need to be used sparingly for best results. Way too salty if you load it on like their videos show. Don't get me wrong, I love their rubs but not at the same level they apply them.
What kind of grinder is that
Just an electric salt or pepper grinder from Amazon
Was that a Prime, Choice or Select Ribeye?
Prime
Where can I get a grinder like that?
Amazon has tons!
Badass steak
If you only knew how many good suppers I cooked my family behind your videos and seasonings
I love the DuckFat sound affects! 🦆
Butter, or booter?
You’re still cooking it comp style. At home the only way to go is using the backside of the grill grates. Get that nice even sear on the entire steak.
Looks good man! 🔥🔥🔥
Why didn’t you use you BEST steak seasoning?
Yo Q, that grinder, do u sell em?
We don't. They have tons of similar ones on Amazon, though!
@@KosmosQ Ok Cool, Thx Bro!

Damn, I can smell that steak. How is that even possible?
It was in-freakin'-credible!
Just waiting for that shirt to become available.
It was on the site for a while, but who knows, it could come back!
wouldve preferred when you said to look at your steak 7:05 that you actually zoomed in on the meat instaed of all the meme bombs
Well, try watching another one of our steak videos. We have plenty on the channel 👊🏼💥
With all those expensive grills. Must have a lot of money
“The garlic jalapeño is stupid good on a burger”………….um……that’s….a….uh…….ummm….a steak….
So we can't talk about another type of meat in a steak video?
@@KosmosQ you can talk about whatever you like….it’s your video. I thought it was funny that it was said as it was going on a steak.
Wtf is a Hola-Pee-No 😂😂😂 No Mames Guey

But muh grill linez!!!!!1 It's gotta look like it's from burger king or i can't eat it!!

nothing new here, just another guy cooking a steak, its not rocket science.
seasoning isn't the best, but its certainly not the worst.
Why do Americans shout all the time?
Who's yelling??
Lots of salt there bud. Also, lots of charcoal for just 1 stake. The black burned meat is not good for you
Ok then
To much work.
Weight on the steak, duck fat and more.

I'M A ROYAL OAK GUY
Nice!
For a steak all you need is salt, pepper, garlic and butter.....taste the meat not the outrageous seasoning you put on it. Lol
Was the stake so bad you have to cover it with spices
What is wrong with little bit of salt and that's it
Good thing it was QUOTE very simple
Otherwise he would have put the 2 entire cans of spices
You just ruin that stake with all that much of spices
