thereare some doctors in the internet, showing before and afters of their lifted patients. Well, some of them look good, but i find that a 65 year old woman does not have to look 35 again. You are a good example for a beautiful mature woman, who didnt undergo any surgery- please stay like you are💋

Thanks so much for raising this important topic , and for your encouragement - there's so much to say, but briefly, I feel we are inundated with images of face lifts - oh, and the before and after's! always tucking the chin into the neck, no makeup, bad lighting, sad expression in the before shot!! Happy, makeup on, great lighting in the after! I have seen some good face lifts as a makeup artist, so I'm not against them, but I don't like women to feel as though they're not enough if they choose to age naturally. 🌸

I'm also a big fan of at-home and salon peels - they really make a difference! And makeup.applies so much smoother after! Right now I'm using Lancer physical exfoliant, I go easy because it's powerful. I'll definitely check this one out. Thank you!

I have roseacea and avoid acids. I do use the dermalogica exfoliating powder and I just love it!

I use a lot of skin care products too. I can hear m husband if I buy anything else to start using. He already thinks I take up too much room in our bathroom for my skin care. I did have my nurse practitioner I see tell me whatever I was doing it was working. Im 64 and have been using Curology for five years now. Im sure it’s helping me. I started m skin care journey later than most people. But I think I have caught up. Im happy with my skin the way it looks now. I could use a facelift too. But I want to look like myself not someone else. No needles in my face. I don’t like needle to begin with. If I have a few wrinkles I’m happy. But I don’t want my face changed to have it lifted. If the price was a little less I would try the peel. I use salicylic acid to wash my face with when I think about it. But not as much as I should. I could use dermaplaning too. But I don’t. I had a tool from somewhere I bought I cut my chin. That was the last time I used that one. And I’ve used them before. Maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention. I don’t know. But I went around with a cut on my chin for a few days.

Kerri-Lou I love the way your skin looks... Dermalogica is out of my price range (in Canada) and I have rosacea and allergy issues. What is a 64 year old to do? Any thoughts??

Thanks so much Brianna, I know, Dermalogica is pricey. When my children were young, I my beauty budget was small, and I used to use Oil of Olay products, but not sure how they are for sensitive skin. I will do some research! 😉

Black Jamaican Castor Oil. Works great as cleanser and moisturizer.

You could give the Ordinary a try. They're not expensive. I also like ELF makeup remover balm and foaming cleanser. I'm obsessed with their niacinamide serum. And the cream is very good. They're hard to find in the stores here in Canada but I order it online.
BTW, I'm also 64 with sensitive skin, specially on my neck.

I have rosacea on the cheeks and nose and the best products contain 10% Azelaic Acid for me. I am currently using Eva Naturals, but there are several other companies that are equally good, possibly better. I don't use Retinol products at all. I do use Adapaline (Differin) gel, lightweight alternative for cellular turnover - ignore all the acne marketing. Since these products contain active ingredients, they are all applied at night and covered with a good thick niacinamide HA ceramide peptide containing night cream (like Elf Holy Hydration or Cerave). Best of luck, Brianna!

Oops - I know this isn’t the focus of your video, but heads-up Kerry Lou, the Colourpop link leads to the Revlon Gloss if you want to fix it. Meanwhile, I have been using a new brand to me Stratia: I am enjoying their DMEA Rewind Serum and Interface multi peptide cream with growth factors. Both are lovely during the day and do not pill under foundation. I am also using Naturium 1% Retinaldehyde at night. I tend to try lots of different products and both of these brands offer quality ingredients at pretty affordable prices.
