    I'm quite disappointed that you are so underrated, your videos are unquestionably helpful for thousands and thousands of people who are preparing for the exams. Your way of explaining the material is very easy to understand, also you seem very friendly which didn't make me feel like i was studying at all. I'm currently preparing for my c1, although i only started learning and revising few days ago and i didn't feel anyhow confident in my work nor myself, but your videos helped me gain a little bit of confidence so I'm extremely grateful for that. Wish me luck, I will need it !! :)

    I have a test tomorrow where I need to write a proposal or report. But my cae teacher has made it very clear to us that in a proposal the final paragraphe should be used for reccommendations and should be the largest part of your proposal. Our book( GOLD advanced English) quotes: '' You give more space to the current situation in a report and more space to recommendations for future action in a proposal''. So now im starting to wonder what I should do. A short conclusion or a large paragraphe for recommendations.
    PS. I think it really depends on the task you are given.

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't worry about it too much. As long as you include everything the task asks you to do, you'll be fine.

  • @MariaVidalkittenandpuppy
    @MariaVidalkittenandpuppy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    It's a bit of a silly question but, the headings don't count as "words", right? (In the 220-260 limit) I'm sometimes a bit over that limit and I'm afraid those headings could make it worse.
    Also, thank you for your videos, they're big help😁😁

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Don't worry too much about the headings. If you get a little bit above the word limit because of them, it's really not an issue.

    When writing a proposal do you start with the historical background, because I thought was in present and future tenses.

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That really depends on the task and on what you want to include in the text, but past tenses are not forbidden.

    Is the difficulty of the practice papers online the same as the real cae exam

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the practice papers are from the official Cambridge website, then yes, they are exam-level tasks.

    Can you use bullet points in a proposal?

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can. Just make sure that you still write full sentences and not just note-style thoughts for each bullet point.

  • @anirudharyasomayajula1034
    @anirudharyasomayajula1034 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you write more than 220-260 words, because I think that not enough information is included.

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can write a little bit more, but the tasks are designed so that the word limit is enough. It is there to force you to think about how you can express your thoughts without saying too much or things that might be irrelevant. Try to stay within the limit, but also don't get stressed if you write 270 words.
