My favourite rendition of Cheetah is from her "fight" with Catwoman. There, she's 8 or 9 feet tall, hits with the weight of a truck, and moves like a jungle cat. They even nail her sadism, as she repeatedly allows Catwoman to think she's escaped just to prolong the chase.

Their insane speeds are the only good thing they have going for them, and that does them no good against more predators and prey in Africa. What I'm saying is, if Cheetah really wants to be apex, she really shouldn't base herself off of Cheetahs, rather go with a Lion or Leopard.
I guess that depends on her origin though. Her powers are usually caused by a magic artifact mishap out of her control, so in that case it's not her fault she gets stuck with the crummy animal form. But if they go with the experimented on self thing, then she's really setting herself up for defeat.

To be honest cheetah is one of my favourite female DC vilians and the fact she appeared in almost every Justice league movie same goes for wonder woman bloodlines, she's a great Villain one who knows how to give wonder woman a good fight and each time you try to put wonder woman's villains you think of cheetah. Fingers crossed for WW sequel 😎

Cheetah is the avatar of the god Urzkartaga and cannot be killed by bullets and should easily kill everyone who was shown in this video, however she was ridiculed and reduced to just a cat-lady that does the "me scratchy" thing in these animated series.

Right? In the comics, she is a master strategist and her archeaology knowledge of magical artifacts guves WW a hard time. She has wealth at her disposal too. She even created awW's version of Doomsday. WW even said that of all her enemies, Cheetah is the most cunning and never faces her the same way twice. But in the series, she is just a fighter and always a follower, not the leader. You wont do that to Joker or Lex.
I rather watch movies than read, but the comics are truly superior, especially when it comes to DC, with marvel I think both are equally equally but comics offer more for the geeks and stupid people like me who miss half the movie due to my attention span of an acorn

@@kingwhyte4815 apparently, according to the last WW film, she's a demi-goddess (like Hercules), but the comics are never really clear on that. What we do know is that she was given power and life from the gods, though. In one issue, Lois Lane somehow became a goddess and was gonna resurrect her dead father, but WW gently confronted her and helped her see reason....

I never watched the movie, but she doesn't seem to be outrunning the flash so much as way better reaction speed and the route that she takes to jump is shorter than trying to run that distance.

Cheetah only lose for two reason, because she is a Villain and because the writers want it, because she is extremely OP in most of the incarnations (except WW84).
Maybe I wrong but I remember in some point she became more like an AntiVillain because wanted to 1 end with WW and 2 end with the curse she have and be normal again. And wasn't team up with anyone, just doing solo stuff related with this 2 goals.

The sword of Omens would stop her, the sword can also manipulate time and would freeze her. Liono would win the battle at the end, plus the sword creates an orb force field around the bearer, which would prevent Cheetah from slicing him. Finally, the eye of Thundera in the sword can blast even Metahumans into tiny pieces. The blast of the eye would turn Cheetah into subatomic particles. Cheetah cannot do the same she did to Superman on Liono. She has nothing on him.

I like how they had to *massively* nerf Flash to keep up the suspense. I'm no big comic book fan, but it seems a race of Cheetah against Flash would involve much less running and much more duct tape.
those two have fought twice in the comics and both times Cheetah curbstomped Flash.
Flash survived the first encounter due to P.I.S and Flash survived the second one was because Cheetah wanted to be captured by the Justice League.

the thing about that is that Cheetah has the potential to be much faster, according to Hunter Zolomon (the second Reverse Flash) Cheetah's magical powers make it so that she has no real speed limit, the only thing slowing her down is her own subconscious barriers, the more she breaks down those barriers the faster she becomes, and with no real limit to her speed she could potentially be just as fast as the fastest Flash if not faster.

Cheetah would be much more powerful if she was spliced with another cat species such as a tiger serval or jaguar, while cheetahs have a high hunting success rate they take to flight more than fight, like they will run from anything they aren't chasing down for thr kill. She really should have went for something else but the cheetah speed is really beneficial though
